That's hugely disappointing news. I'm very happy that we got what we did, but I was hopeful there would be more. I'm hoping for some closure, but I wonder if we'll get that considering this late announcement. If there's no closure to the TV show, I guess we could lobby for another movie. Or maybe they could shop the show around. It seems like the type of title that would do really well on Netflix or Amazon.

Aweee. I hope they planned ahead to bookend it. The first two seasons ended with a lot ambiguity (almost like cliffhangers). I get stuck on that shit for a long time when I love a show so much and they don't give us a definitive ending.

I pay for Starz on Amazon just so I can watch this. It's the one show I check for the following morning.

Love this show. For the rabid fan base Evil Dead has, these season threads have been quiet.

While l love the Evil Dead franchise and Bruce Campbell in general. I do like the tv show but every time I'm watching a new episode, I just want to see another movie and I want it to be a "serious" movie.

I was so pumped when the remake came out because of what I just mentioned above and while it disappointed me a bit - it has grown on me over the years and now I really like it.

I'm not bashing the TV show, it's very funny and keeps the blood flowing but, it's just missing that needed something.

Going by the previous episode, what with "killing" off Ruby, seems like they are on their way to wrapping things up. Maybe even passing Ash's mantle onto his daughter...

A bit rushed. But I could selfishly watch another 20 hours of this. They had 30 minutes to wrap it up. So much left to think about if you really like the show. We all asked for another film since the 90s. We got another ten or fifteen hours of Ash.

This show was like no other. Purposely as lazy and stupid as it wants to be. Much like Ash himself. Having Ash change a little in the final few episodes was pretty awesome. They could have easily turned him into a superhero. Especially with the large scale chaos happening. But they kept it very true thru the end.

Would continue to watch the other three if Ash doesn’t want to come back.

There isn’t much discussion on here. I suggest you guys pay $9 on amazon, get Starz for a month, and watch it. Or you can cheat with their free trial week promo.

Great final episode. Loved the final bit. For those who keep complaining about wanting another movie, I think 3 seasons, 15 hours of New Ash adventures was pretty damn sweet - equivalent to “Evil Dead 4-12” for that matter. Thanks for the gory fun, Ash!

That was an epic and surprisingly emotional finale.

Strangely appropriate the show would end in a way that sets up what the original "slept too long" ending to ARMY OF DARKNESS did years ago.

The finale did feel a bit rushed. We got o see none of Pablo saving Kelly. It was a shitload of fun while it lasted. Will be picking up the blu-rays eventually. Maybe they'll do a special complete series set.
