Jen posted her season finale recap on her website, which gives some good insight into the final challenge:

https://jenhudak.com/amazing-race-30-11-12/

One part I found interesting - Jen had to use two left wings to properly assemble the plane. Of course, that increased the difficulty of the task, as you would normally think to use a left and right wing.

It's difficult to come off looking well on Big Brother because it's played out in real time and they can't give a winner's edit, and you alsomhave everything you say and do shown on the live feeds, so every racist, homophobic, sexist, and dickish comment is seen and reported. And you're also locked up 24/7 in a small house with a bunch of people you're competing against for $500K, which is bound to make a lot of people a little nuts.

I'm happy with the winners. I actually hoped they would be good when they first started. I watched BB, and up to a certain point, I hated Cody and Jessica. Cody seemed crazy, and Jessica was just spoiled and whiny. But when Cody got back into the house, I really started to root for them. As leeta said, the rest of the house became horrible. So seeing them actually still be together and act like normal humans, I really wanted them to win. Cody was great at his challenges. Jessica was kind of funny even when I was yelling at her for being useless.

Spoiler:
I could really be down on the BB decision, but that last couple from BB was an amazing choice. She was a terrible person and made a great villain. And the guy was a challenge beast. But hopefully they pull in some of the far better people they has on BB back during the first few years of the show. We stopped watching given how many of them were just simply terrible people.

Really wish it was just simple a TAR All-Star season again. They have had enough great teams to easily fill another one. Even if it's taking individuals and teaming them up like they did in that last All-Star season.

Big Brother Teams:

Janelle Pierzina (BB6/7/14) and Britney Haynes (BB12/14)

I had to google a bunch of those people. That's really weak casting... I heard they had originally planned to do a Big Brother edition, but they changed the format on short notice and I wonder if that's the only people they could get on short notice...

Re: The Amazing Race (S30E11/12) -- "It's Just a Million Dollars, No Pressure" -- 2/2

Well that cast is certainly feels better than an all BB season. I only had to google the middle AR team (and I still don't really remember them), and one name in the middle Survivor team (and I instantly remembered both of them).

Not in any way saying I like all the racers, but I'm happy to see some of them back. That last AR team has been a LONG time coming. And, if they last, there should be some bitchy fun in the last Survivor team and the first BB team, though they are both serious candidates for first eliminated.

For coming in second, I don't remember Border Patrol at all. The other AR teams are OK. Colin I remember in particular as being quite the hot head. I liked Fun and the Afghanimals. Youtubers, notsomuch...

I don't watch BB or Survivor, but I have been pleasantly surprised by those teams on AR before.

I don't watch BB, but I'm happy to see Eliza back. I got really tired of Rupert but that was many years ago. The three TAR teams I recognize look good too.

Wasn't interested in seeing any of these AR teams again. I don't remember much of anything about the Survivor teams except Rupert, who I was already sick of seeing from his far too many Survivor seasons.

So even though I don't enjoy Big Brother the show, I am actually far more interested in seeing those contestants.

In fact - irony of ironies - I will probably pull hardest for Janelle and Britney who I especially hated when they were on Big Brother. But now I see Janelle around every now and then and my daughter is a fan of hers. Plus, as long as they are still on the show together there is always a chance they might make out.

Don't love or hate the cast. I was certainly hoping there would be more of our favorites in there beyond...

Spoiler:
Leo and Jamal
Corinne and Eliza
Janelle and Britney

Had to google most of the AR teams. Seems they could've done a lot better there.

BB and Survivor teams seem solid. Glad they're doing this because recent "regular" seasons have become barely watchable for me lately.

Spoiler:
"my ox is broken!" said by Colin is the best line ever on TAR.

I have wanted this team to win or come back for a long time. I am so glad they are back,

I'll skip this season (the first time I'll not be watching). I'm sick of the "all-star" lineups that keep pushing the same irritating people across multiple shows.

Is this going to air in the fall or summer?

I like the cast. Britney was one of my favorite BB houseguests ever.

It's not on CBS's schedule in the Fall. Expect it to air midseason.

It will probably air during the fall and spring seasons of Survivor.

You mean "between" and that's what they did last season. So it's feasible. They would probably have to cram in some 2 hour episodes.

I think I was going to type "during the break between the fall and winter" .

It's what they did earlier this year (with some two hour episodes), but I seem to recall they were programming around the Winter Olympics.

They just announced today that the new season will air on May 22nd. It's going to be a long wait.

I was really hoping they'd run it in January, possibly with double episodes like they did last year, leading up to CBB.

Aren't they already filming another season after this one?
