Alan Sepinwall didn’t like this show much at all. Disappointing.

Alan Ball’s Ambitious ‘Here And Now’ Can’t Stop Tripping Over Its Self-Importance

I’ll give this a shot solely because of Ball.

Me too, although while Six Feet Under was the most engaging, entertaining, and (I don't say this lightly) life-changing viewing experience of my life, True Blood was something I couldn't give up on fast enough.

Well, after watching the first episode I can't think of a single positive thing to say.

Ouch. Ball made it an auto-add to the DVR. But this feedback...yikes.

Given the names attached, and how little promotion HBO gave it, I had a feeling it was going to be bad.

Same here. Based on the previews I saw, I had no strong desire to tune in. Looked like a bunch of unlikable characters.

This show was just...odd, did I miss the reason why the girl wore the horses head when she lost her virginity? I was playing Tap Titans 2 on my ipad so I may have missed some key info but no biggie. It is not the worst show I have ever seen...it just exists, and if I get behind I will shed no tears if I say screw it and delete the season pass.

I watched it this morning and didn't like it for the most part. They set up the Asian brother and black sister as too unlikable and ungrateful. I kind of like Ramon and the biological daughter. I'll give it another chance.
