On Friday, January 26, Amazon Prime Video will premiere all nine episodes of original dramatic series Britannia in the US. The series is written by multi-award winning Jez Butterworth (Jerusalem, Spectre) and stars Kelly Reilly (True Detective, Sherlock Holmes), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead, The Hollow Crown), Zoë Wanamaker (Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, My Family), Nikolaj Lie Kaas (The Killing) and Eleanor Worthington-Cox (The Enfield Haunting). Filmed overseas in Prague and Wales, Britannia is set in 43AD as the Roman Imperial Army, determined and terrified in equal measure, returns to crush the Celtic heart of Britannia, a mysterious land ruled by wild warrior women and powerful Druids who can channel the powerful forces of the underworld.

Wow, so what was the release schedule for this then? I just discovered it via Epix and watch it through Apple Channels in 4K SDR / 5.1. I'm on season 1 EP 7 and it's fucking badass! There's 3 seasons worth and I hear there's a 4th season on the way.

Season 3 was on Epix about 6 months after it premiered in England.
I don't think the 4th season has ever been officially announced.

Finished up season 3 and it was a great series. I googled and the only thing I found was a tentative release date for season 4 for August 23 of this year.
