I (for)see a couple of things in the future - a) looks like the Zephyr gets unearthed and flies again and b) my guess is they bring Flint back to the past to prevent the planetary break-up w his power.

I'm always in for the sci-fi stuff. I like it more than the superhero/spy elements.
Tons of paradoxes in this episode. I'm not even going to try to think about it too hard, it will give me a headache.

That Yo-Yo scene was cool. I like this story line, but I'm about ready for them to get back to their own time.

Maybe not because I'm enjoying this as well. 1000% better than that Ghost Rider waste of time. I came close to dropping the show during that period.

I was a little confused with the "flashbacks" with the team and young Robin. I'm guessing that they had yet to happen since May didn't recall any of that from old Robin. Plus they were dated in 2018 and the Shield team vanished earlier than that.

As I'm understanding it, the Shield team was taken from 2018 after the events in 2022 had already happened.

In the original timeline the team never went to the future. The flashbacks are from the original timeline. Guessing they all died or else have an older double running around.

No, I thought the flashbacks were after they were sent back so they could prevent this future from happening. That's why Robin had such strong memories of May, as she ends up raising her after her mom dies. The next few weeks should fill in more of this, and give them a way to change things to prevent the Earth from being quaked apart.

We will definitely have this better explained in the next few episodes (how could they not?). But till then I think it's clear nobody has been sent back yet. I found it very interesting this new inhuman kid is involved somehow.

They most likely will bring this Flint kid back with them to patch together the cracked Earth.

Also Fitz mentions a "she" or "her" who is dead. Gemma isn't in the flashbacks. He's probably motivated to build the time machine to save her also.
The drawing of the Zephyr flinging among earth debris probably hasn't happened yet in either timeline.

If they made any mistake in doing this time travel arc, it was taking the team at the diner before a good chunk of scenes they were going to show play out in the original timeline. Took me a bit to figure out how they were spinning this as well. But once you realize they took the team before "destroyer' of words stuff happened, but they are showing the characters lives leading up to the event anyway, if starts to get easier to follow.

At some point, after 75 years go by, somebody got the time travel to work. This rebel underground brings everybody but Fitz to the future because he was never mentioned in her visions. So the team has no memory of these flashbacks because they hadn't happened yet for them in the past.
The girl, Robin, was seeing two different versions of the future, one with and one without time travel. Once the team went to the future the future without time travel ceased to exist. Now she had a vision in 2018 of Fitz also being in the future. This is because the team being taken to the future is what caused Fitz to go into after them.

Yeah, you just have to realize that taking them from the diner to the future would have prevented the destruction of the planet (because Quake was gone) so it can't be linear.
I really like that Fitz took "the long way" too - most stories would have sent him through a different portal or something. That said, he REALLY mucks it up because he froze himself to meet them in the future but the planet was still destroyed while he was frozen so who did that if Daisy was in the future and oh no I've gone crosseyed.
Really enjoying this plot too!

Multiple timeline plots shouldn't be analyzed anymore than necessary.
The Fitz thing makes sense because he chose go ice cube in the timeline where the rest of the team was already taken. Probably a part of the plot that will get more attention as they wrap it all up to fan satisfaction.

I might also be cross-eyed, but didn't Enoch explain that by the lighthouse location having some kind of connection to it all?
