Critters: A New Binge -- Digital series based on the movies

http://www.dreadcentral.com/news/264...cers-original/

If there is one horror property out there that would make a killer TV series, it would be Critters. At least in my eyes. But I find the little furry binge-eating bastards to be adorable af so maybe it’s just me.

All the same, yes, there is a Critters TV series in the works. It’s called “Critter: A New Binge” and it will be hitting Verizon’s go90 in the near future.

You can check out the synopsis below and then make sure to let us know what you think!

The new series is directed by Jordan Rubin, who will write and executive produces alongside Jon Kaplan and Al Kaplan. Original Critters producers Rupert Harvey and Barry Opper are onboard as well.

The series begins production in early 2018.

Synopsis:

The critters return to Earth in search of one of their kin, who was left behind years ago during an earlier mission. They land in Burbank, Calif., where they wreak havoc on a group of high schoolers and their families.

If you're wondering what the hell is the go90 streaming service, it's free and ad supported. Here's the website and the content on it.

Critters! I believe I saw the first film in the series with a best bud way back at the Van Nuys, CA Drive In. I also remember seeing Lifeforce at this same drive-in...fun days.

The go90 website is interesting to say the least...lots of 9-14 minute max episodes of shows, which I guess with commercials might feel like you are watching a typical 23m length network sitcom.
