I have Spectrum and they have an app on both my smart TV and Roku (and probably other places) that offers live programming and on demand, so it might be available that way.

Every time I think about Mad About You, I think of the Seinfeld episode where Susan keeps calling George to bed so they can watch the show. The look on George's face says it all.

It's one thing for Netflix or Hulu to have exclusive shows where dropping $10 to subscribe for a month isn't a big deal. Switching your cable provider to watch a show is absurd.

LA's Finest (Spectrum On-Demand) is better than most network cop shows so I hope it continues.

Mad About You - Shut Down As Helen Hunt Recovers From Car Accident
The Mad About You revival series suspended production on Friday, following the Wednesday car accident involving star Helen Hunt. While she was not seriously injured, she has been resting at home and needs more time to recuperate. The comedy continued pre-shooting work on Thursday around Hunt but shut down on Friday as she is a vital part of the show and is needed for filming to continue. Work is being suspended until Monday when the producers will evaluate the situation based on Hunt’s availability.

Yes, a Star Trek series will probably attract more younger viewers than a show about an older married couple sitting around an apartment. Picard will also feature a bunch of younger people in the main cast.

I bet NBC was pretty burned by the Will & Grace revival and didn't want to go down that particular road again so soon.
Still I wonder why HULU didn't pick it up. Seems like something that they or Netflix would have had some interest in. I would have checked it out.
If I don't have their service (not available in my area) but do have Spectrum Sports in my cable package, would I get this?

I believe Spectrum has some kind of deal with Sony, who produces this show. Because they also have LA's Finest, a Bad Boys spinoff female cop show, also made by Sony. These 2 shows were probably sold as a package.

The Buchmans are back! Paul Reiser and Helen Hunt reprise their roles in the Sony Pictures Television-produced limited event series on Wednesday, November 20 when the first six episodes drop ad-free exclusively on Spectrum's On Demand platform. The final six episodes will release on Wednesday, December 18. The series will explore the fertile ground of modern marriage through the eyes of the Buchmans as newly minted empty-nesters after dropping their unpredictable, hard-to-control daughter Mabel (Abby Quinn) off at college.
The original sitcom ran for seven seasons from 1992-1999 and won multiple Emmy(R) and Golden Globe(R) awards. All 164 original episodes are now available free on-demand for Spectrum subscribers.
"Mad About You" is produced by Sony Pictures Television in association with Comedy Dynamics. Peter Tolan serves as showrunner, executive producer and writer. Helen Hunt and Paul Reiser executive produce alongside Brian Volk-Weiss, Michael Pelmont and Matthew Ochacher. Danny Jacobson, who co-created the show with Reiser will serve as an executive consultant. Additional cast includes: Original cast members John Pankow and Richard Kind as Ira Buchman and Dr. Mark Devanow, and Abby Quinn as Mabel Buchman.
