I am watching St. Elsewhere on Hulu and looked up the cast on IMDB and was shocked to find out the actor who played Dr. Auschlander, Norman Lloyd was still alive. The guy was old when he was on the show, now he's 103.

I remember being shocked when John Hillerman just passed that he was still around too.

The opposite just happened for me. In the Criterion thread, someone suggested a set of John Sayles films, which made me think of one of my favorite Sayles films: Men With Guns.

It stars Federico Luppi, Who I’ve always thought of as the Christopher Lee of Latin America. I went to look him up to see how he’s doing and saw he died in October. That was a bummer.

I read a thing back in October that mention Norman Lloyd's friends bought him a ticket to the World Series this year and that he had first attended one in 1927.

The Olivia de Havilland thing is neat when you think about the fact that she was in such old movies as Adventures of Robin Hood and Gone with the Wind - and she was an adult when she starred in them, not a child.

Also she outlived her co-stars in both movies by no less than 50 years... which is roughly the length of lifetime of some of those co-stars.
