Eh, I hope it’s not too heavy on the remakes. Do something new. Nightmare at 30,000 Feet is a classic.

Will this “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet” have a gremlin/man on the wing, or will it be something else? Can’t tell from the preview.

No. It's a CBS All-Access exclusive.

You've said you don't support streaming & say it sucks, so don't complain when something comes out that you want to watch that you don't have access to.

FYI, the first 2 episodes are up now on CBS All-Access.

I started watching some of The Comedian late last night. I'll finish it up today.

Thread title probably needs to be changed since it's official and airing now.

I watched the first episode (The first is free to watch on Prime), and I enjoyed it. I was a bit surprised at it's length, though (55 minutes). Are they all going to be that long, or was that just because it was the first episode?

I really don't want to pay for another streaming service either - especially for one show. The other CBS All Access shows do nothing for me. I'll get a free week of All-Access and watch all these episodes once the season is over.

Reactions I’ve seen to the first episode (The Comedian) seem a bit on the mixed side. Sounds like the updated Nightmare at 30,000 Feet is better though.

According to a few reviews I've read, apparently Jordan Peele has little to do with the show other than his name.

re: Twilight Zone (CBS All Access) -- from producer and host Jordan Peele

He’s host and producer on it. His role as host is basically like Rod Serling on the original. He introduces and closes each episode.

I watched both episodes. Initial thoughts so far is the acting was good in both episodes and it’s a well made series. Peele seems like a decent host. He doesn’t have that kind of mysterious voice like Serling did, but he’s a decent presence when he pops up. The show feels like a modernized version of the original series in many ways. I like the updated intro and the music cues from the original, though we never really hear the classic theme.

I liked the second episode more than the first one personally. Even though that story has been done before it felt like it had a better flow to it. The first episode is a decent idea but it felt like it drug on forever. About halfway into it I was getting tired of it. Both were good episodes though.

I just went with the $5.99 CBS All Access package as a few commercials don’t bother me that much. Since I have it active I’ll probably try and go back to Discovery too.

It's also free at the CBS All Access channel at YouTube

Now that I've bitten the bullet and subscribed to AllAccess, I'm looking forward to this. I love Discovery, and the wife and I are currently bingeing The Good Fight (also great). We'll start on Twilight Zone next.

Just watched The Comedian. It was basically an updated version of the kid who kills people when they say/do things he doesn't like. What bugged me was his comedic schtick. Even when he was killing the crowd - the jokes were atrocious.

I haven’t checked this out yet but have a free trial and will soon. I feel though that any of us that watch Black Mirror will be spoiled by its quality.

Yes, the first 2 episodes are fairly pedestrian compared to Black Mirror.

I realized that I've never watched Twilight Zone: The Movie and it's free on VUDU. Had to watch the original Nightmare at 20,000 Feet first, then the movie's, and then the new tv show.

Just watched episode 2. Wow, outside of the production values, that was a lame re-imagining of the episode and film version.

Episode 3 looks promising, though.

Re: Twilight Zone (CBS All Access) -- from producer and host Jordan Peele

So I caught the first episode. I thought I had it figured out (and my way would have solved all his problems...) Spoiler below...

Spoiler:
Why didn't he just crack jokes about the famous comedian? He would then never have existed, then none of the actions would have happened. Girlfriend is a lawyer again, he is not famous, etc...

I figured episode three would be up today but apparently it's not until Thursday.

Thumb's down on Ep 3 for me.I'd rank it #3 of the 3 and I didn't love #1 or really like #2 .I'll wait for more people to see it before getting into specifics

I get that there’s bad racist cops out there, but damn they were comically one-dimensional on this. I’m giving this one more episode to convince me not to cancel after Discovery ends.

Yeah, this one was just way too over the top in the race dept. for me. Yeah, we get it, white cops don’t like black people in the South.

I likes the the idea of the story had it just been some guy trying to kill her, but the race thing...nahh.

so far 3 duds.
