All of a sudden Diggle has progressive nerve damage when Oliver asks him to be the Green Arrow? How convenient...

Those scenes with Diggle and Canary are the worst scenes on Arrow since season 1 with Tommy or Laurel. And why wouldn't they track down Roy instead of assuming the can turn Diggle into some expert archer, they didn't even mention him.

Roy is too busy jumping off walls to become GA.

Kind of silly thinking the city needs a hero that shoots arrows. I didn't hate this episode but I wasn't happy with it either. That kid has to go. I'm scared they might make him into a robin type sidekick.

Oliver knows that Diggle has a kid too, right?

Yeah this is a stupid story line for episode 2 of a network season. Sigh.

Just all around stupid. Really hope they get hammered for such an inane idea.

Straight up mention of Bruce Wayne in the Arrowverse. Shocking.

So you really have to wonder if Batman exists in it. Too bad we'll never see him.

If Diggle dies, the kid will still have a mom though.

I was hoping Oliver was going to ask Diggle to full time bodyguard the kid. Like he started as Oliver's bodyguard.

Some things you just have to go with, -it's called Dramatic License, or there'd be no point to having a show.

I know this show is 6 seasons in and they need to come up with something different to try to keep it from getting old.

We all know that Oliver's "retirement" isn't going to last and he'll suit up as the Arrow again once something gets fucked up.

I still think they should have called the show Green Batman.

Yeah this episode wasn't very good. The storyline about Oliver retiring might have worked except for the fact that Diggle isn't an archer, and it makes no sense that Oliver would pass the mantle on to someone who wasn't. None of the side stories are interesting and William is so far ruining the show. Its just a mess after a strong season 5.

Oddly written about risk-taking given Diggle doing same plus all the cops in town risking their lives daily. We though it might have been a Roy opening or even Olicity II (have her be surrogate mom ... ).

Canary would be great if she could use her power more than once a day.

I think I just dropped this show like I did with Supergirl. Flash is on the cusp. Legends is the only show that's actually entertaining now. I guess I won't bother with the crossover this year either. Probably will suck anyways.

I've actually been finding this season's Arrow episodes the only entertaining CW superhero show at the moment. I like this Black Canary much better than Laurel's faux version.

Diggle won't be Green Arrow for more than an episode or two. Something will happen that makes Oliver realize he's the only one for the job.

I think it is time that Arrow comes to an end.

Something with William I'd bet.

These plot devices like Oliver abandoning the Green Arrow to Diggle are just silly. Other than that the episode was fine. New Black Canary > Old Black Canary.

This seems similar to the plot last season where Oliver broke up the team. How long did that last? One episode?

Dead Air > Old Black Canary

Both Arrow and Supergirl need to be cancelled or merged with Flash and Legends. Would drop them both if not for the cross-over coming up.
