So I guess Iris isn't a reporter anymore. I'm not sure what special skills she offers to be necessary in that room.

Also at this point Wally is definitely a superfluous character. It's time to send him to Earth 2 to be with Jessie. Tonight's third act take down of the villain would have been a whole lot better if it wasn't completely contingent on Wally sucking as Kid Flash.

I liked Cisco's new suit though.

Not only does Iris bring nothing to the group in terms of skills, but she's been written as a fucking drama queen that doesn't do anything other than bring the show down. Why has writers done this to a very good comic book character? Also, it doesn't help that that Iris and Barry don't have any chemistry at all.

ugh, she's being written far worse than normal and it seems like they're going way to hard the other way to make Barry "have fun" with the role again.

WTF is up with Wally’s hair? It wasn’t like that last week was it? At times it almost looked like evil Barry’s wig from last season.

The producers have said they're going for a lighter tone in general. Their idea is that Barry left his angst in the time prison.

I thought this was fun. Loved seeing all the goofy stuff that Cisco put in Barry's suit. Honestly this felt like a silver age type of story. Iris basically becoming the leader of Team Flash seems incredibly ridiculous.

The actress that plays Iris and the actor who plays Barry have had extremely inconsistent chemistry throughout the shows run. But this time around I think the lack of chemistry is just as much to blame on the writers room. They really don't know what to do with the character. Are we really supposed to buy that an uneducated out of work reporter is now a tactical genius that can badger/pester a dimension hopping superhero for not listening to her tactical expertise? I know its a CW show but c'mon now...

Not a fan of Iris, but in her defense the truck stopper on the left was the better idea. Credit where credit is due. The whole "you left me" thing was ridiculous though and took away whatever good faith she'd earned from that.

Hopefully the Elsa plotline goes somewhere. She's the only character that's even remotely interesting at this point. Can't stand Cisco, Gypsy, Joe, Iris, or Wally anymore. I do like the happier Barry.

I have no idea what is going on with Wally's hair. It's like Andy Warhol kidnapped Wally while Barry was gone and forced him to get an awful hipster haircut.

While I don't think much of Iris's new role with the team, I guess they want to give her something to do since the wedding is coming up. If you pay attention, Joe doesn't help team Flash out much anymore.

I did like the fun of Flash's suit losing control and going haywire. It was the bright spot in an otherwise forgettable episode.

That scene with Flash deconstructing the car as it was about to crash was pretty cool. The producers are definitely using his speed better this season and I get the feeling Barry is now at his full power levels.

I forgot the most asinine part of this episode had to be when the self-destruct sequence was initiated and Barry goes "Iris I need you!" because obviously the two scientists shouldn't be asked for ideas.

They also have it where it appears Berry can't do anything without checking with someone or everyone. Even the most basic of things.
