Notes from Wikipedia on Season 43's cast...
Prior to the start of the season, Bobby Moynihan (a cast member since 2008), Vanessa Bayer (a cast member since 2010), and Sasheer Zamata (a cast member since 2014) left the cast. To fill out the cast, the show hired three new cast members, who became featured players: Heidi Gardner of The Groundlings, iO Chicago alum Luke Null, and stand-up comedian Chris Redd. Redd had been incorrectly reported as joining the cast during the previous season. With this announcement came the confirmation that the rest of the cast from the previous season would return, including guest star Alec Baldwin in his role as President Donald Trump. With his return, Kenan Thompson surpasses Darrell Hammond's record as the longest-tenured cast member in the show's history, with fifteen seasons compared to Hammond's fourteen. It was kind of a meh episode. I did like the Woke Jeans commerical and Papyrus sketch.

I don't think Gosling laughed enough during almost every sketch.

Meh, as usual the best parts are Kate McKinnon. And what in God's name is the appeal of Jay-Z?

Did Bobby Moynihan take the Rick and Morty joke to heart?

Am I the only one who didn't think the Papyrus sketch was funny? The Youtube comments for the video are mostly people calling it the funniest sketch ever, several people were "in tears", I don't think I smiled. I get it, it's a shitty overused font and lazy graphic design work, but don't most movie posters use a lot of basic overused fonts?

The Pizza Hut sketch was just an unfunny version of the Coffee Crystals bit with Chris Farley: http://www.ebaumsworld.com/videos/ch...lity/83156267/

The Alien probe sketches with Kate McKinnon are getting old. It seems Lorne wants to push Mikey Day since he was in almost every sketch. |
