I've seen him twice a few years apart and he did seem to recycle some bits. I'd hold off.

I know searching isn't your thing but on Netflix just keep it simple with a single distinctive word. Easy peasy.

I watched the first `10 mins and will finish it later. I guess this is part documentary and part "new" standup, but maybe not the new standup he's touring the country with.

No this is not the NEW standup special. This seems to be essentially a retrospective of sorts. The new special will premiere later in the year.

I liked it but it's definitely more of a retrospective than Jerry using new material (plus documentary). Many of the bits are ones that he used early in his career, I've heard most of these before but still nice to hear again. Really cool seeing old footage of his act too.

He pretty much admitted at the end of the show, this was all recycled material... pretty fun watch, but will be interested to see his new special and how that is.

I've seen him three times and yeah he does recycle material. I'd still go to see him again though. Need to watch this documentary at some point.

I will always give Seinfeld credit as that he succeeded in Standup without cursing. That is a tough thing to do when he has to compete with any edgy comedian then and now like Pryor, Carlin, Murphy, Rock, Chappelle, Louis CK, etc who all have freewill with the language.

His special is pure Seinfeld as it may not be for everybody, but his observations are always great.

I saw Jerry in February of this year and his material was great - really funny and well written. Almost NONE of that material was featured in this special (maybe 4 minutes about his parents not caring about their kids), so I'm assuming the SECOND Netflix special will be his current act - which probably won't release until he's done touring that stuff.
