I'm watching it now ... came in to make a Serial/Bowe Bergdahl joke only to find I already did ...

Anyway ... our investigators have traveled to an elite private school in pursuit of the truth behind The TurdBurglar -- a serial vandal who caused "The Brownout" and additional "attacks" that (as of the first part of Ep. 2) have not been named ... it's a downright dirty case that can only be solved by the crew of American Vandal.

Got through most of it last night ... 8 episodes about 30 minutes each. Just finished the last two ...

It didn't have the humor of the first season, but it still had all the heart and really captures you. A+

I was prepared to dislike season 2, since I'm one of the few people who don't find poop funny, but I ended up liking it better than season 1. Really well done show.

Watched season 2 this weekend. I thought it was really good, although not as funny as the first season. The show is really good a accurately portraying teenagers and the growing pains of high school.

The grocery store's name was Dawsey's, not Dassey's.

Speculation that Netflix dumped it because it is purchased programming, not produced by Netflix in-house. That means it could show up on another streaming medium/network. Hope so, I love this show!

I just finished season 2 a few days ago. Another great season. Compared to the first, I think this was better overall. In the first season, Sam and Peter got drawn into the whole mystery and became a big part of the story. What I liked here is that they maintained the documentarian/detective role the entire time.

Too bad to see it cancelled. It's the perfect streaming show as you can binge through an 8-10 episode season in a day or two. Hopefully they'll get another run at it elsewhere.

That’s because the decisions aren’t being driven by actual viewership numbers. They are being driven by rights issues and production costs.

I hate to see it go, but at least there's not a lack of closure because this is the kind of show that has self-contained seasons.

As well as viewership numbers and general media attention. Apparently American Vandal chatter and eyeballs fell off a cliff with season 2. I personally don't think they give shows enough time from launch to cancelation decision.

Now that they are opening up their own studio, it has been very apparent they will be much more trigger happy on axing things they don't fully produce if they aren't buzzworthy or popular. This coincides with many of their first originals ending (House of Cards, OitNB).

Just finished Season 1 and was very pleasantly surprised with how good it was. Looking forward to Season 2.

Last I heard the series was being shopped around, but that was likely from a while ago.

I loved the first season, but thought the second season was a major letdown. I think the difference for me is that the crime in season 1 was silly and didn't really hurt anyone in a major way so it was absurdly fun to see it dissected in such a way, while the crime in season 2 was way more cruel and mean spirited so it wasn't as fun to watch it unfold. I don't really know where they would go with a third season, to be honest. I would have watched a third season, but I'm also not too shaken up about not getting one.
