Oh, I didn't catch that T&P were supposed to have been off the air for that long - especially since the boys have only advanced one grade in 20 seasons.

Man this whole season has been a home run. Great episode. Cartman and Heidi fight was great, as was the Mr. Mackey/Miss Conduct stuff.

Definitely a step up from season 20. The Halloween and the introduction of Strong Woman & Ms.Conduct episodes are among the best they've ever done. I felt like I was being beat over the head with socio-political commentary in the finale but other than that they've done a stellar job. I'll be back next fall for sure.

Was that the season finale?
I gather you had to be familiar with “It” and “Stranger Things” to understand many of the references because this episode fell flat for me. There were a couple decent moments but I enjoyed this one a lot less than most of the rest of the season.

There are a lot of interesting rumors that Matt and Trey are fed up with Comedy Central. Apparently Comedy Central is demanding more political content in the show than they want. Supposedly Matt and Trey weren't even going to use Mr. Garrison's Trump this season until Comedy Central forced them.
CC needs to leave the political smarm to the hacks on the talk and fake news shows where it belongs. South Park is best when they are dealing with broader societal and pop cultural issues that everyone can identify with. You would think by now CC would know that Matt and Trey know what they are doing and to just stay the hell out of their way.

Loved how they were expecting kickass '80s songs, but just got cheesy '80s songs instead. I haven't heard Juice Newton in decades!

Supposedly the Cartman-Heidi relationship this season is a metaphor for South Park's relationship with Comedy Central.

We had a beloved Newfoundland dog who passed away a few years back. When Ike appeared riding one, my family actually started clapping.
