Yeah, a couple of good one-liners but overall, weakest episode yet.

I admit I laughed out loud for the Avis jokes.

Pretty morally ambiguous episode. Why is it OK to kill a ship full of adults but not the children? Also, Maloy revealed to that Krill child where Earth is.
Given the normalcy of space travel in this universe. I doubt the location of earth would be very difficult to find. A bunch of people should have that information. Interstellar traders, travelers etc. I would assume earth is heavily defended and not an easy military target.

That was the first time I laughed out loud at this series. Very good line!

When they were flying the shuttle to the Krill ship and Malloy was playing CCR's "Midnight Special" I kept waiting for Dan Aykroyd to pop up from the back seats and ask "Wanna see something scary?"

Overall, I enjoyed the episode, in spite of the rather moral ambiguity of the mission resolution.

I did that once with a glob of wasabi (smaller glob than that) due to low lighting and being a kid that was new to sushi and not realizing I had picked up the wasabi instead of a piece of fish. I immediately drank almost my whole glass of iced tea and never got any burn

This show is a ton of fun, Kudos to Seth and Co for making a fun and yet thought provoking scifi show.

I finally got to catch the Krill episode, and I really liked it. There were a lot of little lines in there that came and went under the radar, but I picked up on them and laughed out loud.

And the show really brought up some good points - very Trek worthy stuff. I also like Seth MacFarlane as the captain. A lot.

I love this show.

So while ratings have been pretty low for Live+SD on this show (0.9 - 1.1) in it's current spot, apparently it's crushing it on DVR/Streaming platforms.

The Pria episode that aired on October 5th went from a 0.9 to 2.1 in the demo in Live+7 (an increase of 133%), and from 3.4m viewers to 6.7m viewers (+98%).

Not surprised. Seems like a prime DVR shown given the demographics the show targets.

Now let's see if Fox has really learned their lesson with cancelling shows too soon.

Gotham and Lucifer don't get stellar ratings, but they are hanging around.

This episode is annoying me because of the Black Mirror episode.

But it is more Reddit than that ep was.

Yep.. I have to say that was super annoying. I liked the episode but it was a blatant ripoff of the Black Mirror episode all the way down to not being able to get certain things if you don't have enough points (a little different in that you have "bad" points as well as "good" points but.. it's the same thing).

My favorite line though was "She saved the.. whale.. forest"

That's thinkin' on your feet

I loved the Oct 26th episode! Granted, I’m not familiar with Black Mirror (as I’m reading these other posts)

An extraction would have been awesome though

Yeah, I was surprised there would be an episode this week, but I did think it was the weakest one of them all thanks to Black Mirror having done it first.

I thought the chick from the planet wherever was hot and Padalecki was looking good out of uniform.

The ending was definitely inspired by the Russian Facebook ads.

Really liked the black mirror in space episode. I thought they would just hack the voting results. Well I guess they did in a way but I thought it would be more directly instead of Russian fake news. Pretty topical episode also. They hit on a number of issues going on today.

Hey, did anyone else notice that this resembled that Black Mirror episode?

Otherwise, it was pretty good. My wife (who had never seen the BM episode) said "well this is a pretty damning commentary on our society".

I was surprised after seeing the preview that this wasn’t a time travel episode. The concept of an alien civilization mirroring modern Earth to closely was super far fetched.

but it's also (relatively) super cheap. That's why so many SF shows throw one in ("Dark Matter" did one recently).

I guess I'm not the only one who watched Black Mirror.

Still found the episode entertaining though.

It got better as it went, I felt the depths that the society relied on the voting system was darker than on the Black Mirror episode.

It's an anthology series (Netflix bought/took it over for Season 3), kinda like a techie Twilight Zone. The episode this was most similar to is episode 1 from season 3 with Bryce Dallas Howard, "Nosedive". It was a more in-depth version of MeowMeowBeenz

You guys are mentioning the Black Mirror episode, but this also reminded me of the STTNG episode where they were going to kill Wesley Crusher because of something totally benign.
