I hope it was by choice and he is not having any health problems.

I know people here don't like Maggie Gyllenhall but when she was on the table with her legs spread dam.

Some, there are actually 3 still in San Diego, though they are individual rooms with full length glass between you and the stripper.

I assume the dick on the black dude was fake when he posed for the camera.

I want to see the full unedited scene where he nailed that blonde hoe in prison.

So season 2 ended. Did anybody watch it?

Overall, I thought it was decent and even there will be a 3rd season, it felt like a finale in tone and they way things ended for many story lines....

Yes, it was a satisfying ending to the season. Wonder if they'll bring in some new pimps for Season 3.

I don't know, but I bet they touch on the impact of VCRs (which they alluded to already), the changing face of Times Square... I'm sure AIDS will be part of a story line.

Pretty good season finale! It felt like it could've been a series finale.

Too bad about Dorothy/Ashley. That was pretty brutal.

Definitely in for the next season.

The ending montage was great. It reminded me of the opening montage of Season 2 of The Sopranos.

I think I'll be due for a Sopranos rewatch next year when The Deuce wraps up.

It’s the eve of 1985 and the party is winding down. The third and final season of The Deuce premieres Monday, September 9 at 9PM.

I thought since now it is set in the 80's it would be even more exciting but season 3 has not been that much fun.

Spoiler:
One James Franco brother is now dead

Yeah, I really didn't expect that, even as it played out.

Still really enjoying this show even if it doesn’t get much love here, I’d put it pretty close to The Wire myself and well above Treme. S3 definitely doesn’t seem like it’ll have a lot of happy endings with the body count rising each week but such is life. Great characters who all feel lived-in and real.

...Damn, the final season of this show’s gonna have a higher body count than Game Of Thrones. 😳

Re: The Deuce (HBO) -- Series Thread -- created by David Simon -- S: Franco, Gyllenhaal

the way the Lori scene unfolded was so fast... all the signs pointed to what would happen, but the way they did it and the speed of it made it feel unexpected. Just a tragic situation.
