The best episode so far, but it's a case of too little, too late.

You can't really disagree with this. I'm sure there will be a fan edit at some point that cuts episodes 1-3,7,16-18 together that everyone is thrilled with haha.

I have a feeling episodes 17-18 will practically be fan fiction and will be so well received that everyone will forget the issues that proceeded it. Until we get the ambiguous ending where Laura Palmer comes back from the grave to warn Coop about the impending alien invasion from the creamed corn planet that is.

I have to wonder how much of this season was made up from ideas from the original run? I wouldn't be surprised if the Evil Cooper / Dougie plotline wasn't something very similar to what was originally planned for Season 3.

I am positive Lynch will delve deep into these theories on the Blu-ray commentaries for each episode.

Jesus, the double-negatives in this sentence make what you're trying to say more confusing than the average episode of this show!

I'm not sure if you're being serious or not.

Actually, it's more full of ideas from the planned sequel to FWWM that Lynch never got to make.

Still odd though, considering they took a hiatus for July 4th weekend.
