Wasn't even big enough for CNN alert
He was big enough for NBC Nighty News with Lester Holt but they never covered Chester Bennington or Chris Cornell when they died.

That's my association with the actor - Cheers and the short-lived series Love & War. I guess he was on Murphy Brown too, but I never watched that one.

Jay Thomas narrated Michael Jordan: Come Fly With Me!

I remember him from Cheers and also the Disney movie - "My Date With The Presidents Daughter". Thomas played the father of Will Friedle ("Boy Meets World) character who is the one who goes on the date with the presidents daughter. Dabney Coleman played the president while his daughter was played by Elisabeth Harnois who was later on the orginial CSI and played the lead character in that Point Pleasant series that people raved about but it only lasted eight episodes. (Thirteen episodes were filmed and you can get the DVD for $3 currently at Big Lots.)
