Every one of your examples is valid.

Still loving the show, but they're coming up with some pretty lame fan service stuff and illogical things. In fairness, though, it seems that GRRM hit his own writer's block with Books 4 & 5. Hoping that the rumored ending scrolls to the saga (if they ever emerge) aren't a major disappointment.

Not liking the implied manipulation of Arya by Littlefinger. After all she's seen & experienced in her travels, her Spidey sense should be tingling. Kind of a downer after the emotional reunion with Sansa. Also...the note in the mattress was about as obvious a hiding place as putting the key under the doormat. That should have aroused some suspicions.

I just don't want to feel that the audience is being manipulated through lazy writing, although the producers can't please everyone. There are just too many scenarios they could explore. The White Walker plan is just silly on many levels, IMO. Just have to go with it, I guess.

Obviously, Sam got 99.9% of the male brains of the family.

I love the interaction between Dany and Jon... you can see it in her face she is intrigue and not to mention when he touched Drogon.

Was surprised that the show didn't make it more obvious that Sam still had possession of Heartsbane when he left the Citadel. Since Valyrian steel can kill whitewalkers, presumably this sword still has a role to play in the show.

Another great episode. Love how everything is wrapping up as we move to the final showdown.

I don't like what Varys has devolved into. Used to be one of the smartest/knowledgable people in the lands. Now he's just someone who occasionaly provides some thought provoking quote to Tyrion. It's like he was labotomized. He hasn't used his "birds" to his own advantage in a long while.

He doesn't have any "birds" left. They're all Qyburn's now.

Littlefinger has years of experience as a sly motherfucker but yeah....I thought Arya should have at least had the sense that something was not right. She found that note way too easy.

That's kinda what I mean. Varys from the books never would have let that happen. He was too smart and ahead of everyone else.

I'm just waiting for the moment where things are about to come to ahead, and Bran just says that Littlefinger is trying to pit the two of you against each other and rolls away.

This bugged me about the start of the episode. Especially with Tyrion knowing Jamie was on the battlefield and him and Dany seeing him knocked in to the lake, seems like it would be clear that someone would look for him to fish him out.

Their plot armor must have been very light to survive that swim...

So it sure looks like S7E6 will be a single-location episode. How many of those have we had over the years? Blackwater, Watches on the Wall, Battle of the Bastards. Any others?

One thing that bothered me was how both Jon and Danny just sort of shrugged off Jon's encounter with the dragon with a "hey, isn't this dragon cool?" - the way the dragon reacted to Jon was kind of a big deal that both should've treated with more gravity and curiosity.

But she was too busy thinking about how she wants to bone.

I really can't stand how there are masses that want this to happen. And I'm sure it will in the season finale or something.

Spoiler:

The trailer showed some stuff with Dany and Tyrion, so not completely in one location

Jon would have no idea that it was a big deal. He's never encountered a dragon so how would he know how one would react?

Battle of the Bastards was not a single location episode. There was some King's Landings stuff in there too.

Not much in here but I've seen a few articles about it online. When it happened, I said to my wife "oh, that was really important".

Re: Game of Thrones (S7E05) -- "Eastwatch" -- 8/13/17

For those who didn't catch on, the implication of what Gilly was reading is that Rheagar Targaryan was actually married to Lyanna Stark before she had Jon Snow. Which means he is not a bastard, and which also means that he's the true heir to the throne (not Daenerys).

Spoiler:
She was reading an old arch maester doodle about how he annulled a marriage. It was Prince Rhaegar's (Jon Snows father). He annulled the marriage and had a secret wedding with Lyanna Stark. He's not actually a bastard. He's a Targaryen. More important, Rhaegar was the crowned prince. Making his heirs have the real claim on the throne and not Danny Targaryen. This info has been sought after for years for book readers and it was just casually dropped and ignored by Sam. Yet it's the biggest kept secret in Game of Thrones
