yeah, I wasn't aware I enabled anything (also watching via Roku), it did it automagically. Then went back to normal.

Gendry will reappear. They need someone to make the weapons, after all.

This was a Bronn-heavy episode so it would've been appropriate if he'd died, but I'll reserve final judgment till we find out what his ultimate fate is. And yeah, he was god-like in this episode but it wasn't like he was engulfed Targaryean-like in dragon fire.

I just rewatched the scene, and he said "Flee, you idiot." Then when Jaime started to charge, he added "You idiot. You fucking idiot."

I loved it when Jaime's aiming his spear at Dany then the dragon head appears to intercede.

That is a really famous soliloquy on the show. It was featured as being the Season 3 trailer before Littlefinger was seen saying it :

Man, there are some absolute debbie downer smells in this thread. Anyways, amazing episode, one of the best of the show. Some people need to stop eating carnation instant bitch for breakfast. I'd like to know what type of shows you're all watching. Maybe move on to other shows if it doesn't please your elitist standards. This is one of the greatest shows ever made, glad i've been able to see this unfold.

Maybe he's been paddling against the current for seven or eight years now, finally tires, falls asleep, and washes right back up on Dragonstone. Problem solved!

Considering that the Dothraki are analogs for Native Americans, I wasn't surprised at all to see them doing the charge on the horses. Loved them standing up in their saddles to shoot arrows or to leap over the line.

I just thought about this. Now that they know there are dragon killing weapons, would it be possible to make some armor for the dragons to protect them and for them to still be able to fly? Gendry is supposed to be an amazing smith. Maybe he'll be the one to make it?

I may be misremembering (or, more accurately, remembering something that was only in the books), but the assassin was sent by

Spoiler:
Joffrey, who overheard Robert telling Ned that killing Bran would be a mercy, and Ned was a fool to not just let him die. Joffrey thought he'd impress his father (the man he thought was his father) by killing Bran.

Yes, that's from the books, though it isn't outright stated as a fact, just a conclusion treached by both Tyrion and Jamie. (In the books.)

Now that Bran can see shit in visions, it might be definitively revealed who did it.

That "books" explanation makes no sense (edit: not saying it didn't get explained that way in the books, but it sounds like Tyrion/Jamie were just speculating, and I don't think that is the correct answer). I always assumed it was Cersei, but Littlefinger is certainly a possibility.

Right. Because it's such a precision instrument.

A theory i had (i'm putting it in tags juuuust in case it happened in the books and what not)
Spoiler:
Since the Hound is still alive, when Arya finds that out, she goes and kills Brieanne for not finishing the job, or maybe Brianne kills Arya which would probably piss a lot of people off

Yeah, I watched the scorpion scene again and didn't see any sign of Bronn changing his aim in order to avoid a critical hit.

actually, most of them are still living. Joffrey, Robb, and Catelynn were the only ones I saw (the woman just before Joffrey maybe, couldn't tell who that was, might have been Sansa but not sure).

It would make absolutely no sense at all, it would be based entirely on the fact that we know and are rooting for teh dragon, but there is no reason for Bronn to want to spare it.

Bronn's a tough cookie.

He comes from good stock. Here's one of his relatives in action:

That's his brother Bonn...

James Bonn.
