Re: The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty (MTV) -- Premieres 7-18-17

I can't believe Tony, the guy who can't figure out how to use a condom, won the trivia challenge. I agree that this episode was edited poorly. They spent way too much time at the Redemption House and didn't show the questions and answers.... Kaliah and Hunter are lucky that they are athletic, because they are dumb as rocks.

Or that he is cheating on his current baby mamma. No, wait - I can totally believe that.

No good drama on top of that but the elimination challenge was pretty good. I think they should introduce a new twist where you have to stay in the redemption house with Aneesa and Cory and if you don't blow your brains out in 24 hours you get a million dollars.
Yeah, this trivia episode was cut really weird and didn't seem to have the trademark dumb answers. Maybe all the players just actually did better this time around.

It's shows like this that made me drop the challenge in the middle of the last season. Really only needed to watch the last ten minutes.

Camilla is getting really awful. Some of her drunk trainwreck antics have been fun in the past, but this was rough to watch. Leroy handled that really well, just makes me like him even more.

Funny that the word "black" got them all upset and not the word "pussy".

Leroy seems like the nicest dude, Camilla is a psychopath. There was no need for her outburst, even though she thought they were talking about her when she walked into he room. It was especially stupid to call him a 'black pussy'. Every time a white person says something like that to a black person, it just reaffirms the idea that most whites are racist.

I saw in social media somewhere that Bananas said MTV edited out the absolutely worst stuff she said.

Why's that funny? The word 'pussy' has been used much more freely on TV lately. However, racist comments are forbidden (when it comes from a white person). If one of the black cast mates called one of the white cast mates a 'white pussy' nobody would even bat an eye.

Re: The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty (MTV) -- Premieres 7-18-17

Leroy is a saint for handling that the way he did. All class.

I'm surprised Nelson was able to beat Hunter in that elimination. I figured that big, strong, Hunter would have dominated that.

Nelson might be the dumbest man alive. Every time he talks it seems that he's reading off a cue card that is written for him at a 2nd grade level. The cherry on top is that after his win he went on about how great Hunter was and ended with "I want to be like him when I grow up". Hunter is 5 years younger than Nelson.

Nelson isn't the brightest, but the comment doesn't bother me. I've made the same type of "be him when i grow up" comments too

Good to know. As it showed now, it screamed a little too "set up" for me.

In this hypersensitive state we live in now, I figured the misogynist term would of been equally as offending as the racial one.

By the way, she's Brazilian. Are they considered "white"?

Re: The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty (MTV) -- Premieres 7-18-17

I just finished the episode tonight and I think it's time for Camila to take a break from the show. She might need to get some counseling too. I don't know if everyone saw, but Challenge cast members are going to be on a Fear Factor special before the new Challenge episode next week. I set my DVR to record it. Also since the prize money has been raised this season, I think they have upped the episode count and there are a lot more filler episodes this season to compensate for it.

I think she's just one of those people that can't drink bc they go batshit crazy. Alot of people are like that. Normally, she's pretty whacky but nothing like when she has one of her drunken episodes.

This season is starting to draaaaag. Food challenges are always a little interesting, but seeing it done for the redemption challenge was kind of boring, as well as all the Tony stuff.

Re: The Challenge XXX: Dirty Thirty (MTV) -- Premieres 7-18-17

Yeah, the show’s really moving at a blistering pace. At this point, hopefully we can finish it up at some point next year. I figure that next week will be a challenge, the following week an elimination, and then week three the two eliminated players compete to see who comes back into the house.

The main cast hasn’t had a challenge since the trivia competition and that feels like a month ago.

They had basically that same mud mountain challenge on The Amazing Race two seasons ago, without the disgusting food part though. I think that was in Colombia too.

I thought that looked familiar. I don't like food challenges and I don't think I'd do well in them at all. The thing that gets me is where they throw up on food that they still need to eat. Gross....

Nelson is such an idiot. Derrick knew what he was doing, get him to attack you and get him thrown out. Smart move.

Haha, yeah Derrick pushed Nelson's "keepin' it real all up in here" button with the expected results.

It didn't even seem like Derrick goaded him much at all. Nelson is just an idiot.

Yeah Derrick was basically just standing there. Nelson was raging for seemingly no reason. Herp derp chance for big money flushed down the toilet.
