I knew that Moynihan was leaving, but had no idea about Bayer. Does she have a show booked like him or just gone to do different things? And I agree, I've always thought that she was hot in a strange kind of way.

I admit I hadn't watched SNL in approximately 30 years because there hasn't been a cast which interested me. This year I tuned in periodically due to the political segments. To me, it seems as if the show has no idea what to do with the cast or no confidence in them.

Many times the cast was eye locked with the camera or their cue cards rather than acting or playing off their fellow skit-mates. Then again, this may be an SNL directive as Dwayne Johnson, Alec Baldwin, and Tom Hanks all did the same in the opening last night.

Overall, it just is not a quality show. It can have some ups, but more often than not I don't find it funny.

Hopefully these talented performers find their way because I don't think the show did them any favors.

A friend and I was watching that first Katy Perry song open-mouthed. We were like, "WTF was that?"

And by the end of the commercial he had blood coming out og his nose.

Wasn't this supposed to be Kenan's last season? If not it looks like he'll have a shot at beating Daryl Hammond's all time episode record. Of course thats if they aren't counting his current role as announcer.

I don't think so. He's pretty highly regarded by the cast and staff, and I believe unlike a lot of the others, this is exactly where he wants to be.

Zamata was never really featured or developed any characters. I'm really surprised she lasted as long as she did.

Sucks Bayer is gone. A huge loss and only McKinnon leaving would be bigger.

I wish Keenan would have said goodbye.

If you had fantasies of eating food on a Naked Katy Perry you got your wish in the video below.

The new Katy Perry Album has to be one of the ugliest album covers ever along with her new Peter Pain blonde boy hairdo.

The cue card thing has gotten progressively worse over the years. The original cast made a concerted effort to hide the fact they were reading off cards. The current cast couldn't give a shit.

I don't go that far. My assumption is that there are 37 rounds of changes and rewrites on show day so they're seeing the latest draft for the first time immediately before the show (with enough time to become vaguely familiar but not memorize) or even on-camera as it happens.

Yeah. No big loss to the show, as she was one of the weakest players there.

They actually tell the hosts to not bother memorizing lines and just read the cards. They make changes too often and last minute.

Colin Jost is hooking up with ScarJo

Months after filing for divorce from Romain Dauriac, several news outlets are reporting that the 32-year-old actress is "hooking up" with 34-year-old Saturday Night Live star Colin Jost, who co-anchor's the NBC show's "Weekend Update" segment with Micheal Che. Page Six reported over the weekend that while at the SNL finale after-party, Johansson and Jost were "flirting and canoodling in full view of everyone" and "made out at least twice" while at the bar.

A source for E! News also claims that, if true, Saturday night "wasn't the first time" these two have gotten close. "It's been going on for a bit," the source said. "They're not in a relationship, but they have fun together. They like each other, but it's not exclusive -- at least not at this point."

Johansson made a surprise appearance on SNLthis weekend to reprise her role as first daughter Ivanka Trump.

ScarJo clearly goes for funny guys... didn't she date Jason Sudeikis too? She has a type for sure.

Girls love funny guys. An OK looking funny guy can actually compete with a Brad Pitt or George Clooney.

So why would she go for Colin Jost though?

I assumed it was a song commissioned by the NBA for the playoffs. :P Wow, was that bad.

This. He and Che have killed what was once the funniest part of the show. Which isn't really saying much over the last several years.
