So are you fried, tired of this genre? Do you watch everything/plan to watch everything that keeps coming out? Are you trying to keep up, but struggling because it's just too much?

What about for The CW shows when there are 3-4 show crossovers? Do you ignore the crossovers because you don't watch certain shows.

What's your opinion. I know this forum is mostly into comic/sci-fi and nerdy shows like this as opposed to straight forward dramas. But, do you think the comic/super hero genre is at it's peak or is it at severe overkill right now and you simply can't keep up?

I'll be honest. I'm a little burned out. The CW alone from this past season was 111 hours of content. I watch all of them and it was a bit of a chore keeping up.

We need more cop and doctor shows.

Seriously, this list is pretty wide ranging. I only watch about a quarter of these shows currently. Some of these I wouldn't even lump into the comic/superhero genre, such as Lucifer and iZombie.

Also, the streaming stuff shouldn't really count for much either, as these outlets are not tied to a seven day, three hour prime time programming paradigm. Sure, the money Netflix spends on the Defenders characters could be spent elsewhere, but if it's profitable why go somewhere else. I don't think anyone is pining for another season of F is for Family.

No. I prefer these shoes to almost anything outside of a good law enforcement action/drama show.

Lucifer and iZombie are based on comic source material even though they are both for all intents and purposes procedurals. So they should absolutely still be considered comic shows.

People on here know I eat this shit up. Aside from Stranger, I probably watch more of these shows than anyone else, but even I have to pick and choose now. Once I get my health issues sorted out and get back to work I'll have much less time to watch.

BTW: I watched Iron Fist over the weekend- unless you're a Marvel completest don't waste your time.

iZombie is the only one I watch and I haven't actually watched any of season three. Will probably wait for a hopeful BD release.

I used to be a big comic fan and back then I would have loved this age in comic TV shows. But now, I'm a bit burned out. I don't watch any CW shows,I tried but it is too much. I really only watch Walking Dead but that might stop and I loved Legion​. Can't wait for it to return.
I know I enjoy the films more than the TV shows.

Nah, I treat it like any other genre. I don't try to watch everything, just the ones I enjoy.

I'm not struggling but I know I'll never catch up with the shows that interest me. I'm currently watching Riverdale, I gave up on Gotham, I saw one season of SHIELD, I've been bingeing both seasons of Supergirl, and I recently watched Iron Fist. I know the Netflix series will always be there, but the challenge will be if I one day want to watch Arrow and Flash and those have moved to their own DC network. But they're obviously not a high priority for me, so I'd just watch something else.

I did with the first four episodes of season two. Haven't watched any of the others and not sure if I will. I also watched seasons 1-4 of Arrow and 1 and 2 of The Flash on netflix but doubt I will continue further with the three.

I only watch iZombie and Legion. I see the previews for those other DC CW shows and they look awful.

I took a break from Supergirl, Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. I'll probably catch up on them when they become available on Netflix. I have only been watching Riverdale which just ended for the season and iZombie lately....

I only watch Legion regularly, so I'm good with the amount we have.

No. But mostly because I ignore most of them.

I cared about Agents of Shield until the finale in the Inhumans' temple. Binge watched the Netflix Marvel shows. Haven't gotten into any of the CW shows. I'm definitely watching The Tick (watched the pilot many times). Wanted to watch Preacher but didn't get around to it yet.

Okay, with WB I did catch iZombie on Netflix and enjoyed it - but not obsessed with watching it at episodes air.

There is saturation with Marvel's universe. But they keep changing things up and making it fresh. I'm pretty sure they're doing that on purpose so they can keep going.

I bailed on Walking Dead after 4 or 5 seasons. I didn't even make it through season 1 of Gotham, Agents of Shield, or Daredevil. I've been with Flash since the beginning, but hit a roadblock at the invasion crossover and everything since then is just sitting on the dvr. I'm interested in checking out izombie, Riverdale, and Legion someday, but if I'm being honest, I'll probably never watch an episode. I'm not really interested in any of the rest, except maybe runaways, but I don't have hulu.

Only a few for me. Flash is numero uno, followed by Supergirl and lastly The Walking Dead. However, I still haven't finished the recent TWD episodes. I'm about ready to drop it. The end of season 6 and then all of this year has been utter garbage. The characters have turned into moronic characitures of their former selves. That and Neegan is a raging douchebag that may have worked on the comic page but is laughable on screen.

I gave Gotham, SHIELD and Legends half a season each to hook me, to no avail. Arrow lost me in season 2 with the dreadful island crap. I gave iZombie 5 or 6 to get going but wasn't into the procedural nature of it.

Then there's Daredevil, the only show on the list where I was rooting for the good guy to get his ass kicked. Needless to say I didn't move on to season 2.

Lots of junk on the above list that I couldn't even get past the first episode, but one of the shows ranks up there as one of the best TV shows this year (LEGION!).

I watch what I want. If I miss something, so be it. I know I'm missing great stuff, but I watch Flash and Supergirl and pretty content...

Not at all, but then I don't watch most of it.

Walking Dead (but not the spinoff) and Legion are the only two I am "actively" watching.

I have never seen any of the CW and WB stuff.

I plan on watching Iron Fist, but the last bits of Luke Cage and the lukewarm reception for IF have put me off.

Still pissed that Constantine was canceled and didn't find a new home. Tried Agents of SHIELD but didn't even get through the first season.

So, nope. I'm just picky.

I watch, Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham, Lucifer, Marvel's Agents of Shield, Legion, The Walking Dead, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Wynonna Earp


Will check out The Gifted, Black Lighting, Punisher, Inhumans, Defenders, likely those other Marvel and DC based shows.

Love it. I tend to watch shows with a sci-fi, powers, magic, supernatural based theme.
