Convinced it is Kevin's (Justin Theroux) destiny to be in Miracle for the coming seventh anniversary of the Departure, Matt Jamison (Christopher Eccleston) impulsively heads to Australia in an effort to bring Kevin home. Unfortunately, God gets in the way.

This episode was atleast interesting before the last 20 minutes, like most of this season.
So is next week the Kevins and Nora, the week after that these 4 from tonight again, and then they all come together for the finale.

That was awful. This season has featured some of the worst scripted television HBO has aired in years. Thank goodness there is only three episodes left.

This might be the first episode of the entire series that I really didn't love that much, but it did have some redeeming moments. Matt has turned from an interesting character into a guy I really don't like to watch, but I did enjoy his final moments with "God". Maybe he'll stop being so manic now.
I'm not expecting the ending to make a ton of sense, just like the rest of this season hasn't made a ton of sense, but the characters emotional journey has been great. I'll be sad when it's over.

I loved this episode. Matt's meltdown with God was great and really moving. I hate the character if I was in that reality, but watching him is pretty entertaining.
And I guess they are using Miracle as time's ground zero, otherwise time zones really fuck everything up anniversary-wise.

It can't be rapture... I hope at the end of season (or anytime soon?) that it would explain why 140 million people disappeared.

I finally got around to binging Season 3 and good lord this show has fallen off the cliff.
I liked Season 1 and 2 but this season is an utter mess. I have 3 more episodes as I’m hoping there is a good resolution, but I gotta feeling I’ll be disappointed.
I will say this that Carrie Coon is one of the most underrated actresses in the business today.
