Well, I enjoyed this episode. While the brother and Nicole characters are played out, I do like the family issue between Eric and Nicole. We've already seen the aftermath of the CTU career - Jack Bauer and his family's downward spiral. Everywhere he went, people died.
I had a small feeling that Jadalla's dad would be alive after last week. Great fire stunt at the end, coupled with Sean Callery's music.
Glad we'll get to see more of Tony. He's the only one with any "legacy" this season.

Ibrahim Bin-Khalid being alive was really not a shocking moment as this episode probably hoped for. 24 has pulled something like that dozens of times.
I thought the whole exchange at the stadium was poorly staged. Made no sense for Rebecca to go out into the field after she managed to get John released.
Not 100% sure, but they seemed to hint as Andy alluded that the Director of National Intelligence who is Mullens boss may be up to no good.
I really can't stand Nicole. I know their intent is that working with CTU and being caught up in this line of work disrupts and even destroys relationships. She obviously doesn't want him to be involved, but still, there is a mad man running around threatening the lives of millions and she just expects him to drop everything and leave? She's just a poorly written character. Comes across as needy and selfish in a way.

Everything is poorly written. The show is just so repetitive. How many times can someone get snatched and used as leverage? This is even more shocking considering there are only 12 episodes. I just don't get why the writer's haven't offered anything new to this when bringing it back.

So I'm guessing this show doesn't get any better? I gave up because it bored me to tears before Tony showed up but was thinking of trying to finish it out on Hulu.
