The Walking Dead (S7E12) -- "Say Yes" -- 3/5/17
Rick's group will find out yet again that the world isn't what they thought it was. It's much bigger than anything they've seen so far. While they have a singular purpose - to defeat Negan - it won't come easy. More importantly, victory will require more than Alexandria. They need the numbers of the Kingdom and the Hilltop, but, similar to how Rick felt, Ezekiel (Khary Payton) and Gregory (Xander Berkeley) do not want bloodshed. To convince them otherwise will take more than speeches. The lengths Rick and the group will have to go to in order to find weapons, food and new fighters is nothing short of remarkable.
We'll meet new survivors in incredible places. We'll see Rick and the group tested in ways we've never seen before. We'll see treachery from people we trust. Rick is confident as he will see his group and many others band together with the common goal of taking down Negan. But no amount of planning will prepare the group for all-out war with Negan and his army.

So next season is going to be all about the battles vs Negan, and some side stories, right?
And in the season finale of season 8 they will defeat Negan.
I'm sure the rest of this season will be just more of the same. One episode with one character, then some other, Negan, Carl, Kingdom, Hilltop, etc.

When Rick popped back out of the walker pile I would have paid a year's salary to have a cut shot to the ghosts of Glenn and the cgi dear nodding approvingly ala Obi-Wan/Yoda at the end of Return of the Jedi.

So what's with all the Rick/Michonne shagging scenes? Either she's going to die, or she's going to be pregnant, I would guess.
But yeah, a shit episode. Everyone continues to do stupid things. They found some guns. Yada yada yada.

The scene where Michonne thought Rick was eaten by the walkers had no drama because we all knew he wouldn't die. Maybe a few seasons ago, I may have took the bait and thought he was a goner, but not last night as it was more about what ridiculous way he would survive.
Idiot 'Entertainment Weekly' posted an article in last weeks issue the actor or actress from The Walking Dead who got a gig on a CBS show next year so I may have an idea who dies in the Season Finale.

I actually enjoyed this episode, despite bad CGI deer and Rick's complete stupidity.
The one thing tho, that I just cannot get past is stupid Mrs. Spock and her Yoda meets Tonto way of speaking a mere 3 years after society's collapse. That's not evolution, that's just being an asshole.

They're trying way too hard with this whole Rick and Michonne thing. And, I'm sorry, but that actress just can't act. Her forced smile and trying to act natural is such cringe.

After giving up on the show a while back, I was roped into watching this episode by a friend, and yeah, it was total crap. But then it's been crap for a long while now, like, since it's second season, so people are finally starting to figure that out.
How's this show gonna end? Seriously? There's really only 3 ways, none of them satisfying. They either keep going and the show ends with no resolution. They all die/become zombies. Or they find some cure and humanity lives. I don't see any other way out of this mess.

My guess is that when the golfers left sight of their truck - Rick STOLE just the batteries that he needed and the bag of pretzels from the box conveniently labeled in big block letters "BATTERIES".

This was my assumption, as well. They also stole their beer.

I can tell my love for the show is waning as I used to be able to watch and somewhat enjoy Talking Dead. I watched about 3 minutes before I had enough as there was nothing to analyze about the Episode. I used to like to hear different takes on the themes of the episodes in the past, but the show doesn't even have that anymore.

It's official. The ugly, bowl cut lady annoys the hell out of me. Even with the captions on, we couldn't figure out what the hell she was saying.
