Watched this last night on Showtime Anytime. It's up there early so people can watch it before the Oscars.

As soon as the FBI guy went into that building, I knew he was dead. Damn it. This is finally getting good.

This show has gotten so crazy was kept waiting for the old lady to do something to the President-Elect.

This was by far the best ep of the season. Astrid popping at the end was a surprise.

Can someone remind who Astrid is? Was she on a previous season?

I thought the same as I was wondering if she was going to drive off the road and take the President-Elect out? I thought the conversation inside the car was very good on why the President-Elect would not bring up her son on the campaign, as it seemed to me she didn't want to exploit his death?

I was down on the show early in the season, but the last 2 weeks have been very good. After the last few seasons of starting off slow, I do wonder if it would benefit from a 10 episode season instead of 12 at this point?

She is a German intelligence officer and was on last season.

Some good spy stuff this episode. Still hate every minute Carrie is on screen and what they did with Quinn. I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I have come around to agree with the poster who said they should have just had Quinn die last season.

So Carrie just left the dead FBI guy in his house?
She's likely the last name in his phone, and his last texts would have been to her about his address.

Was more concerned with picking up her kid from daycare?

This show is barely clocking in at 45 mins a week now... they are doing a major stretch job.. out of ideas I guess.

um yes? she was at the scene of the crime. the guy who killed him would be long gone. she would have to explain why she was there and found him. picking up her kid should have been her first instinct. the fbi guy's murder made it very clear that whatever he stumbled upon was worth murdering for. she was protecting her child.

I enjoy how you and I are opposites on this show Def. I like to question the plot holes, you just love it!

My point is she's clearly going to the be the key suspect in his death, and running makes it look even more so that this is the case. She took the gun - clearly for safety - I get that, but I'm guessing she's going to be arrested.

Also I hate her scared/crying look.

How is it a plot hole that she saw the guy dead and knew the killer was there so she ran to avoid being killed? Or a plot hole that she saw whenever they were investigating was willing to kill an FBI agent, so she ran to get her daughter to ensure she wasn't harmed? The only legitimate plot hole I would buy is that she went back home after all of this. That is dumb as shit

I'm getting a little confused with the plot, which may have something to do with me doing other stuff while watching the episodes. I'd stop doing that if this show were good enough, but I'm not too concerned if I miss some details.

I was planning to skip this season but I'm actually enjoying the more tightly focused scope of this particular storyline. Plus I'm hoping to see the president-elect drop the hammer on Dar and his cronies although it's just as likely that she ends up in a body bag instead.

Add me to the list...
I thought the first episodes were one of the worst in the entire series, but the last episodes have been good, Homeland good.
