On the Superhero Insider show on EW Radio, they rave every week how this is the best season of Arrow ever.

I thought of this forum because I know a portion of posters do not like the flashbacks at all and were glad to see that Oliver's flashbacks had pretty much caught up to the series beginning. But now we have flashbacks for other characters too - so it seems that will continue to be a device in this show.

Yeah no way this season is nearly as bad as 4. No way it is even terrible either.

Depending on how all this Prometheus stuff plays out this season will either be better or worse than S3. There is no way it's as good as the first two seasons.

I'm not sure how often they can be used after Oliver returns to the island. Both Dig and Felicity have gotten them and Wild Dog's give insight as to why he's a vigilante. We know the backstory for Ragman and Artemis. Curtus was normal before meeting Felicity and company so I don't see the point for him. That leaves the new Black Canary and maybe Vigilante. Of course they can start making up flashback of Oliver as the Hood like they did this season.

I think season 3 was Arrow's nadir. This season hasn't been that bad, it's just not as fresh as Arrow once was a few seasons ago when you had characters like Roy, Sara and Deathstroke running around.

What if Prometheus is revealed to be Roy? I wish they'd bring Roy back in some sort of conflict with Oliver. This show could have taken a much different direction if they had paired Roy and Thea up as some sort of criminal duo working against Oliver.

God I hope not. I'm perfectly content with Roy gone. I liked him better than Thea as a sidekick, but since he left I can't say that I've really missed him.

I'm more interested in the actor that plays Roy showing back up on the finale of Teen Wolf than I am of him returning to Arrow, but I don't think he'll re-appear. Nor will the guy who now plays Superman on Supergirl. There hasn't been any word on that yet, but eh the second half of the final season doesn't even have a set premiere date, though I'm guessing it'll be towards the end of June.

Supposedly Superman is not coming back to Supergirl this season.

Yeah. The hypocrisy there is simply staggering.

Particularly when you consider the concept of "Vigilante-ism" romanticized by the show, -putting on a mask and becoming judge, jury, and sometimes executioner, -is far more "dangerous" in the real world than the legal ownership of guns by the average citizen.

So what was the magic gun control policy they put into place at the end of the episode? The one that didn't step on anyone's toes but was enough to calm everyone down?

In truth I have no idea, -certainly nothing that we don't already have.

what city hall doesn't have a metal detector at the entrance?
The hypocrisy of trying to shove gun control down your viewers' throats on a show glorifying a serial killer who has killed tens if not hundreds of people using both a bow and guns is ridiculous.

Arrow at least confined most of their moralizing on the issue to one episode. It didn't leak into the entire season like Supergirl.
