BTW : Not that it matters, but I think this will be the tenth appearance of Baldwin on SNL this year. If he appears even one more time (which seems pretty damn likely), he will be ineligible for the Guest Actor Emmy as one of the stipulations is that the actor can't appear in half (or more) of a season's episodes.
It might be his 11th appearance anyway.

Can he be nominated as a cast member or does he fall into a weird gray un-nominatable area?

McCarthy will probably win for Spicer anyway.

Apparently he could.

Leachman was listed as a guest star and was nominated for Raising Hope despite being in 90% of the episodes.

That article linked above notes it's a new rule the past couple of years.

The Fatal Attraction spoof with Conway/Tapper was just weird.

Surprised they didn't have Rosie on as Bannon.

That would be terrible

Any gifs of Cecily Strong getting her panties exposed when Spicer blew her with a lawn mower?

No, it would be a true insult and great just for that reason.

With all the recent talk of Sarah Palin being considered for Ambassador to Canada, I was hoping for a Tina Fey cameo.

The Cheetos auditions was funny. Danielle the Cheetah lol

Surprised the lack of guest cameos with Baldwin hosting. Maybe since he did Trump so many times it was not that special.

Maybe if Trump appeared to face Baldwin that would be the ultimate.

You don't like this? The overcast setting in England or some place in Europe is cool though i don't really connect with the lyrics or music.

I liked the Fatal Attraction Kellyanne Conway sketch. Kate McKinnon did well playing psycho. I could see her in some kind of horror movie.

Now we all know there are 2 kinds of crime. Regular....and black.

I wonder if Alec Baldwin will pass Chevy Chase with more appearences as host, than Chevy did as a cast member.

Opening was good despite 2 weeks in a row and the pre-taped bits were funny (the bizarre black history month chocolates, Leslie Jones as Trump, Fatal Attraction) but didn't care for the live skits. Not much for Baldwin to really stretch. Lazy cheap farting skit at the end.

I wonder how awkward the next Tapper/Kelly Ann interview will be.

I loved Kate McKinnon as Jeff Sessions during the McCarthy/Spicer opening. Should have included more of that.

Come on dude... you come across as this all-knowing entity at times and then post drivel like this. You could be living under a mushroom and still heard of him... and yes, he sucks.

Back on topic... the ONLY thing worthwhile in the entire episode was the BDSM skit with Leslie Jones on Weekend Update... that was some funny shit.

I enjoyed this episode for the most part. The last 3 episodes have been pretty good, IMO.

That's why I'm perplexed, because I am a know-it-all, and this dude, who seems to be well known, completely missed my mushroom.

Seriously you've never heard A-Team?

or "Thinking Out Loud" (which won the 2016 Grammy for Song of the Year)?

You must live in a pretty deep cave. In any case, that's a you-issue not an SNL-issue. Sometimes they feature unknowns or barely-known artists and that would be a legitimate question. But not for a Platinum-selling Grammy winner on his third album.

I recognized him, but had no idea what his name was.

It's not that outlandish. These aren't the days when everyone in town tuned in to the same radio station for all of their music. There are almost as many musical outlets as there are artists.
