You must live in a pretty deep cave. In any case, that's a you-issue not an SNL-issue. Sometimes they feature unknowns or barely-known artists and that would be a legitimate question. But not for a Platinum-selling Grammy winner on his third album.

Nope, not a single one of those is even remotely familiar to me, much less something I've heard of. And I'm actually pretty well versed in British rock (he is British, right?), but I guess it's the more alternative/indie and straight ahead ROCK stuff that I'm into, rather than populist crap like Sheehan. I could probably rattle off a dozen UK bands no one in America has heard of, yet I had no idea who this twat was. I'll admit, it is weird.

Next week is a repeat (the Dave Chappelle one)... no news who the Feb 25th host is yet.

EDIT TO ADD: SNL anounced that Octavia Spencer will host on March 4th. No musical guest as of yet.

Are you referring to Octavia Spencer? She's slated to host the next new show on 3/4/17.

She's an Oscar winner for Best Supporting Actress for The Help and costars in Hidden Figures (for which she is also Oscar-nominated).
