Halfway through. I'm having a hard time without Jack and Chloe.

All the beats are here though.

Great. Now kids in the storyline.

They did make a reference to Edgar Styles with his cousin working at CTU

Hey it's Kathryn Prescott from Finding Carter in this episode.

 at the new CTU boss potentially being the "mole" Good old 24

rotfl at Ingram tasing Mullens.

That did feel like a call back to the 1st season.

This was ok - B grade

Least favorite moment is Eric's brother storyline, but haven't seem too much of it yet to hate it.

I like Eric Carter and Rebecca Ingram. I like the main plot so far. Not too much politics yet, which is good.

The school plot has potential.

Keep it coming!

It certainly feels like 24. Not sure how I feel about the lead tho. I wonder how long before Tony shows up.

Kind of weird not having Kiefer, but I thought it was a pretty good start.

I kind of like that Carter is young & very raw with his field skills unlike Bauer.

That climatic sequence was pretty exciting. Good direction by Stephen Hopkins. For those who don't remember he directed the Pilot back in 2001. I believe he's supposed to direct another episode or 2.

So I'm guessing the High School student is part of a sleeper cell that's in that list.

The Ben Grimes part from the Samsung VR prequel makes sense now.

Spoiler:
Grimes was "missing" for few seconds during the compound raid. Now we know he was taking the strongbox and didn't want anyone else to know.

It's only episode 1 and way too premature to assume that Mullens is the traitor. Knowing 24 they're going to reveal the real traitor by midseason.

Since characters on 24 always do the opposite of what they're instructed I'm certain the drug dealer brother's girlfriend is going to rat out Carter's wife and get a lot of her boyfriend's crew killed.

Good start... interesting call backs to the original show. How did Edgar have the time to teach his cousin? He died, what... 11 years ago?

Yes, it was. And of course she's the smartest one in the room.

I don't know, maybe as a new series I'd like this fine, but it's just really tough having it be "24," clock & all (even though it's blue), but no Jack Bauer.

I think I liked this one just enough to keep watching. It did feel like 24. But the lead looks like he's 16 years old so that's kind've off putting.

it was a decent start, but nothing special. i didn't like the mole in the CTU thing, though. that has been done far too many times on this show. i think this show will work perfectly as a 12 episode season.

My hope is the mole isn't in CTU this time, that's why they mentioned several people knowing the secret.

This. She mentioned three people knowing the secret. I'm guessing it's one of the others, or even someone like her husband who found out.

Felt like 24 for the most part, but when watching another lead, especially one that looks so young, you realize what Sutherland brought to the role.

Disappointed Dave Barry isn't live blogging this time. :(

I quickly thought the husband could be in on it. I could actually deal with Smitts being the villain. Don't like him much as an actor otherwise. Always comes of as a real dick even when his character is supposed to be likable.

The whole gang setup seemed even more cliché than the mole story line.

But if anything, the Ben character is going to keep me from enjoying this more than I could otherwise. Not only cliché, but overacted.

But even with all that I still am glad I gave it a shot. They did a great job of capturing how it was to watch the first one with characters (and actors other than Keifer) that I didn't know anything about.

I started watching

Not too bad, at all, does have the 24 feel and was quite exciting but with at this point in time anyway, lesser quality characters, maybe because we don't know them yet
