Have you ever re-watched an entire 22-24 episode season show, if so which?
I've always been curious about this.
Have any of you guys ever re-watched an entire 22-24 episode season of your favorite that you already saw? I'm talking about watching it week to week from September to May and then re-watching it again. Probably not right away I would hope.
And I want to emphasize, this is Re-Watch, not buying the BD set or streaming it on Netflix or Hulu and seeing it for the 1st time.
and this is a full season network show. Not 10-13 episode cable seasons.
Or once you view it once, then that's it.
Last time I did this was for 24 season 8. I re-watched the entire season prior to Live Another Day airing in 2014. I watched all 24 episodes again over the course of 1 month.

I've seen West Wing, at least one other time, from start to finish. In the midst from starting from the beginning again, enjoying it, but haven't had the time to commit. Started er as well...

No that's not what I meant. I mean watching an entire 22-24 episode season of your favorite show again?
Like have you ever watched an entire 24 episode season of Castle again after watching it week to week for 6 months?
I own a bunch of Castle seasons on DVD (I think 6), but I could never see myself devoting that kind of time to re-watch an entire season again.
There is so much new content floating around that IMO it would be a huge waste of time.
I also own all 10 seasons of Smallville (9 on DVD, 1 on BD). Could I ever see myself re-watching it? In this day and age, probably not. I would rather see a new movie or watch something I've never seen before instead.
Sometimes I question myself why I spent the money for all those long season shows that I already saw and probably won't watch again.

I've rewatched the 2nd season of Boston Legal a few times, it's 27 episodes, if that counts. Also many sitcoms/animated shows.

Yea. I rewatch all of 30 Rock, Arrested Development, and Always Sunny on a regular basis. I play a lot "in the background" while I'm working.

Yes I have. Only for one show. Take a wild guess...
24 - seasons 1 through 8 on DVD (or BD) throughout the years. So basically I've seen each season twice. Once during the original airdate and once again on DVD.
I postponed watching Live Another Day on BD before 24 Legacy, since I don't want to get sick of 24. Gotta have some balance haha

Re: Have you ever re-watched an entire 22-24 episode season show, if so which?
Yes, but in most cases it's been years later and with other people. E.g., I rewatched the first season of 24 with my kids.
In some cases, it's a show that I really enjoy, like the early seasons of Chuck. Or something I can watch in the background, like How I Met Your Mother (only half-hour episodes).
And it doesn't fit under the rules, but I've rewatched Game of Thrones multiple times, and those are about as long as a sitcom season.

I've rewatched dozens of shows with 22-24 episode seasons through syndication or DVDs. I think How I Met Your Mother the final season, was the last time rewatched a sitcom season with that many episodes.

Re: Have you ever re-watched an entire 22-24 episode season show, if so which?
One season? LOL! That's for noobs. I'm sure there are a few people in this forum that have watched some shows entire series several times.
In my case, it's just Lost. I watched every season live. Then when the DVDs, and later BRs, were released I'd marathon the entire season again, before the new one started. So, up until the beginning of season 6 I watched each season twice.
I watch "The Constant" at least once a year. I tried to watch the entire series in blu ray again, but I think we stopped around season 2.
When it was available in Netflix we marathoned the show again, but only my wife watched the entire series, I stopped around season 2/3.
Last summer we watched the entire series with our 10 years old daughter. It was a great experience. That was the fourth watch of the entire series for my wife, and my third. Some of it was watched in BR, and some seasons/episodes in Netflix. They "gifted" me S6 in BR last Christmas.
We will probably watch the entire series again in the future.

Yup! I've watched the entire run of Hill Street Blues at least 3-4 times since watching it as it aired back in the 80s (although I didn't watch the last couple of seasons back then, as it was when I started college)

We'll watch all the TV seasons I have purchased again. Why else would I buy them.

Yes, although the only a few immediately come to mind.
- Buffy season 2
- Chuck season 2
- Angel season 1 (who checking I think that was 22 else)
While I've watched season 1 again of Buffy and Chuck those are only 13 episodes. However, I'm also guilty of having purchased sets and not watching them. Pretty sure I have never even opened after season 4 of Buffy or past season 3 of Angel.
I also rewatched the entire run of Highlander, but that's assuming I ever saw the entire thing to begin with as it was in syndication. Plus it was probably something like 10-15 years after it went off the air.

Lost
S1 - 5 times
S2 - 5 times
S3 - 4 times
I rewatched every season before the following season's premier.
And, starting S2, I rewatched each episode twice as they aired. Usually once live, the 2nd after I read that week's thread. Some of them 2 times.
Seinfeld once.

Wow, it would take a while to figure them all out. Mostly older shows I watched that I revisited later on DVD/Blu-ray. From a quick scan:
Star Trek (TNG, DS9, Voyager), M*A*S*H, A-Team, Seinfeld, LOST, Cheers, WKRP, 24, ALF, Buffy, Angel, Simpsons, Family Guy, Battlestar Galactica (both), Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, Blacklist, Flash, Supergirl, Arrow, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, CHiPs, Dukes of Hazzard, Fall Guy, Fantasy Island, Home Improvement, Knight Rider, Lois & Clark, MacGyver, Married w/Children, Quantum Leap, The Shield, Smallville, Space 1999, The Wire, Brisco County Jr, ...

I have watched Buffy, Angel, Fringe, Chuck and The X-Files more times through than a person probably should. Same goes for Star Trek TOS but I wasn't around for the original airings on TV.

Yeah, sure. Though there are times I bought it on DVD, and then re-watched it again on DVD, which I'm assuming counts.
Advs. of Brisco County Jr., Babylon 5 (plus movies and spin-offs), Castle S1-6, Dark Angel, Murder One, Sports Night, Star Trek (all except TOS and the Animated show), The OC.

Plenty of 8-13 episode seasons, but I don't think I'v ever rewatched a 22-24 one.
Edited to add: I did rewatch seasons of The Dukes of Hazzard, Miami Vice and Crime Story. This was more of watching these shows when they came out on DVD - episodes I likely had seen before, but had been many years.

Re: Have you ever re-watched an entire 22-24 episode season show, if so which?
I've rewatched a lot of comedy's (Friends, Arrested Development, Parks and Rec) but outside of 13 ep dramas (Deadwood, Rome, Sopranos, Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, The Americans etc.) there are only a handful of 22 ep seasons I've watched again IN FULL (I'll buy a dvd or bluray set and watch the HIGHLIGHT episodes). That being said, ones I've rewatched in full:
24 Season 1 - 3 times
24 Season 2 - 2 times
Lost Season 1 - 3 times
Lost Season 2 - 3 times
West Wing Season 1 - 3 times
The OC Season 1 - 2 times
Buffy Season 2 - 2 times
Buffy Season 3 - 2 times
There are probably more but those are off the top of my head.

In the last couple weeks: Season 3 of Fringe
In the last half of 2016: Seasons 2 and 3 of Buffy, the first four seasons of The West Wing, Seasons 6-9 of Seinfeld, Seasons 6 and 7 of Star Trek Voyager, Season 2 of MASH, first season of Andy Griffith Show
Before that the list would be too long for me even to remember but would include multiple seasons of, or the entire runs of, shows like: Buffy, Angel, MASH, Andy Griffith, Dick Van Dyke, Mary Tyler Moore, Cheers, Seinfeld, Simpsons, Married with Children, Twin Peaks, News Radio, Just Shoot Me, and every Star Trek series
Oh, and Hogan's Heroes
