Kinda surprised by this news. No idea about the ratings, but it doesn't seem like the type of show to get multiple seasons. I catch up every now and then.

I thought it started out strong but has settled into a boring, typical sitcom.

I still enjoy watching it. It's not great but Kaitlin Olson and the rest of the cast bring the funny.

I've been enjoying it

Chip is funny.

Jimmy has his moments

It really is sweet Dee though, almost no difference

Whilst i think she's funny, i find it hard watching Alba because she is just so large, i can't see her being alive in 5 years. There's fat funny and then there's dangerously obese which is never funny

I honestly didn't even know this was still on.

Reminds me sort of Malcolm in the Middle but with a single parent.

I like all the characters. Alba is not someone you see on television usually and she can sing when she sang that Lionking song. Looking forward to more.

She doesn't strike me as Sweet Dee. This character hasn't hit that level of agressively idiotic pitifulness yet.

Re: The Mick (FOX) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 9/26/17

at Ben doing the pseudo exorcism on Alba.

Got a few laughs out of this. I wonder if they will keep up with cutting off Mickey and the kids from their lavish lifestyle.

at Mickey diving into the shallow end of the pool.

I did think the whole execution with Mickey and Sabrina trying to blackmail the money manager with the male prostitute was poorly executed. That whole thing wasn't that funny.

Not a bad episode. I wonder about the whole dynamic of the show not that they are living in a burned out mansion. I'm guessing that will be rectified in the next episode.

Re: The Mick (FOX) -- Season 2 Thread -- Premieres 9/26/17

I am not a fan of the current "poor" storyline as I think there is more comedy in the original premise as now I feel sad for them even though they are horrible people. Hopefully this will change in future eps.

FOX orders 7 more episodes. Season total now 20: http://deadline.com/2017/11/the-mick...on-1202203507/

Pretty dead thread this season after being on 4 weeks.

The show returns tonight after taking the World Series off.

Anyone still watching? Definitely one of the funniest shows on Fox right now.

The whole cast is great, especially Kaitlin Olson and Carla Jimenez (Alba).

Yup, still watching and enjoying every episode. Think that I'm one behind.

Is Jimmy gone for good?

Keep watching.

I like all the stuff that happens to Ben makes you wonder if he's going to grow up pretty messed up.

The whole family is screwed. Mickey burned Jimmy's ass off for fun.

Really liked the latest episode. Probably one of my favorite of the whole series.

Great episode but there is no way a person of Alba's size is making it up to that roof.

I thought the same thing.
Not only is she very large, she's also very short - which is a really bad combination. Her IMDB lists her as 5'3", but there's no way that's accurate... she's shorter than Chip and Sabrina - who are also short. Alba has to be 5 foot even at most.

She's hilarious though. Glad they keep finding ways of including her in the story lines.

Another good episode.

So Chip loses his fingers in one episode and is back to normal the next? I know that they may be aired out of order, but I was looking forward to seeing Chip deal with no fingers (or at least reattached ones).

I initially figured it was going to somehow be part of the youngest kids dream and it would have made sense.
