Jesus. A Tara episode. I expect those ratings to keep falling off a cliff.
I just don't understand what they are doing now.
These standalone episodes kill all momentum. They need better writers who can juggle all this.

This episode wasn't good IMO. Just didn't really care much about any of these people. I guess this was supposed to show what happens if you challenge Negan too much but could have done that so many other and faster ways. Yeah they had guns. I'm sure that will work it's way into things eventually.

Boring episode and as much as I have liked the show it has me wondering why I am still watching it.
I really hope these last two episodes of the year get good fast.

They sure seem to not actually show any characters that weren't present being told what happened to Glenn, Abraham, Daryl, Maggie, etc. I'd like to see some of the immediate reaction instead of sometime later. Hopefully, they'll show Carol (and Morgan) being told directly of those events.

Anyone else think Tara looks like she gained a ton of weight? Caught about half of it.... my interest in the series is rapidly declining...

Another episode where I don't remember who anyone is, because it's been over a year since I've last seen them.
They need to just do 16 episodes in a row and then take 36 weeks off. Doing 8 episodes, then 8 month break, then another 8 episodes, then a 6 month break is just too long.

A Tara episode? You have got to be crapping me. Next week: "Woman in background #3" gets an episode.
I would have turned it off if I had known all I would learn from it is to never, ever bother with trying the soy sauce packet diet.
Worst episode of the series, bar none. Thank goodness it was 71 minutes!
I guess they did make me look foolish for complaining about a Maggie/Sasha episode last week. But to be fair to myself, when I said Maggie and Sasha were the most boring possible characters to base an episode on it was because I barely consider Tara to be a character on the show. Entertaining the possibility of basing an entire episode on Tara was beyond the realm of rational thought.
This season has been one great episode followed by one good episode stretched out over five boring at best episodes. I suppose the mid-season finale will be decent, maybe the second half premier as well. But this season proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are really taking advantage of the audience's tolerance for garbage in between the premiers and finales. Or scarier yet they actually believe anything they to slap together is guaranteed to be excellence in television.
A Tara episode. Someone should be fired.

Yeah, she had a kid. They mentioned her filming pregnant last season.
And for all the Tara haters...
...I hope she's on the show until the end.

Forgot who they were for a moment. Was not bored or anything yet at this rate it seems like the show order should be less so there are not ENTIRE episodes for every little plot.

I'm not a hater, and I've generally been fine with their individual episodes, but after a grueling opener, the episodes that have followed have been overlong and dullish. This is a case where their decision not to intercut the storylines is biting them.

This is what they do every year. BIG premiere, BIG mid season finale and only dull, meandering, drawn out so this show can go on forever printing money for AMC, episodes in between. And the masses eat it up. They're trying to do what Lost did with individual character episodes. But atleast those were interesting and generally provided answers or new questions that were cool.

And on Lost, viewers didn't go weeks without seeing the main characters or advancing the big story. These writers/producers don't know how to keep the show interesting between the big episodes. It loses its momentum with dull episodes like this one.
