I didn't buy Bob Lee not offing Johnson as soon as he had a chance. He knows Johnson is out to kill him.
They haven't written Memphis as a very smart character. She just survived an attempted assassination by a CIA agent and runs to Bob Lee's wife with pictures of him. It advanced the plot in a fairly cheap way.

Yes, good news especially since I'm enjoying this season (despite the same storyline) and (I would think) it means a new storyline.

Just got caught up.
Last episode that aired on 12/27 had some interesting revelations.
Like Desmond Harrington (Quinn from Dexter) being introduced as another villain.
I was a little annoyed that Johnson started having a conscience and actually had the nerve to pitch to Swagger that they should actually work together. He fucking brutally strangled a 70 year old woman. Glad that Bob Lee rubbed that into his face.
at Julie attacking her scumbag brother in law. That was pretty badass.

Another good episode !
Has definitely improved a lot, not sure we need to see another season, wrap and the story and be done with it

They definitely have more source material to create more than 1 season of this show.

Yeah, I'm glad there will be another season with different material. I really enjoy the books, and there are a lot of great stories to choose from.

Just saw episode 9. That was great.
Loved Desmond Harrington getting his face blown off by Bob Lee's defective bullet. Too bad he was killed off. He would have been a nice recurring nemesis for Swagger.
at Payne getting his arm shot off by Johnson.
The daughter being held at the Russian embassy wasn't a big surprise. Hopefully they wrap up this storyline and start with a new story for season 2.

Solid finale. That was a pretty exciting climatic shootout sequence at the end. Of course Bob Lee was going to nail the Russian from that far That was the biggest non-surprise.
Overall, a nice wrap up to the season & the Assassination plot.
Even though Johnson is still around, it looks like they're going to start mostly fresh in season 2. Also looks like the NSA adviser who cleared Bob Lee might have some shadiness about her. So they have some small things lingering.
The promo at the end said the new season comes out this Summer. That's cool to hear. I assume it will be either late July or early August. This was originally supposed to be a summer series.

I would have never guessed that was Beverly D'Angelo as the NSA adviser if it hadn't been for her voice. Her plastic surgeon did her no favors.

Just watched the entire season this week - i enjoyed it. Some stupidity and a bit too repetitive but overall it was entertaining and I like the cast. I hated that Tom Sizemore's character just disappeared but I guess it's cause he got fired from the show - http://www.tmz.com/2016/08/09/tom-si...olence-arrest/ Other than that, the last few eps were very decent and I loved the way Lon Scott got killed.

I didn't want to wade through three pages of a season thread in case I run into spoilers. Season 1 was added to streaming services recently so we checked out the pilot. Interestingly I was onboard until the last few minutes. My wife wasn't but then did a 180 at the end.
The pilot certainly did not end how I anticipated*, so I'm puzzled what the format of the show will be and what the quality is like. As I see, it was picked up for a second season.
*I figured he'd go on the run and each episode would be him helping somebody in trouble with this skills, while trying to clear his name as he runs from the authorities.
