Typecast actors

Michael Chiklis has played a cop (and made multiple guest appearances as one) in at least 6 shows I can think of.

Any other examples?

Richard Marin.

It seems like every non-Cheech role he takes, ends up resembling "Cheech".

Re: Typecast actors

Dominic West (currently of "The Affair") almost always plays creeps in both his Television and Film work.

As a rule, average looking older actors (Zeljko Ivanek, or Xander Berkeley, for example) are always going to play shifty politicos or advisors, -or lawyers for the opposing team.
