Huh. I guessed she was going to bash Matt's head in, but man ... That second death when she took out Glenn too ... That was just too much. They crossed the line there.

So, did this just turn into a lame-ass gonzo slasher show? I know, I keep saying "I'm out" but there is nothing else to watch on Wednesday night.

Was the skull destruction a coincidence or did the producers want to play off The Walking Dead?

There does seem to be an abundance of head caving on TV this week.

Unfortunately most of it is the audience being beaten over the head with stupid plot contrivances.

Can't deny that this is going really fast. Only three episodes left. And he third is supposed to be another pivot (following the survivor is my guess).

I liked seeing the "real" witch and butcher. Both played with less theatrics than the re-enactments. We're still missing the "real" O'Hare character. And I think we saw the "real" Peters character in the tunnel (where he was shot and ran off).

The "real" hillbillies weren't very interesting. I can't help but see Cold Mountain Renee Zellweger whenever the hillbilly mom is talking.

I wasn't feeling the turn on Matt ... at all. He was under the control of a witch. Don't know what to say about that.

I doubt we'd see him unless his ghost shows up.

The episode was certainly exciting but I'm not a fan of it going on a slasher type turn. I would have preferred a slower build more in line with, say, Blair Witch Project. Which I know isn't for everyone but I personally would have liked that better.

Loved this episode and totally loving this season. It might actually be my favorite, which is really something considering how luke warm I was to the first episode.

I would say I'm out, but I'm a completist and will watch the last episodes out of some strange need to know how it ends. But now I know how so many others felt when they posted that they hated how previous seasons of this show went during the course of prior seasons.

Now admittedly I haven't watched a lot of series that get bad reviews going in, so I've probably missed a lot of bad shit over the years. But that was the worst 40min of TV I have ever watched. Are they trying to sour us on every actor in their troupe, because they have succeeded.

For the briefest moment I was getting into what was going to happen as they ran into the real butcher, real witch, etc. But those went by too fast and in really lame "found footage" BS quality where you can barely tell what is going on.

I still do like the actress that plays the cop sister. The "real" one, not Angela Bassett's stupid, drunk, bitch actress.

I thought it was hilarious when they revealed Matt only came back to hook up with the dead ghost. That moment alone saved the episode for me.

hdnmickey -- you speak for me too. I've kept saying I'm going to drop this, but I may as well ride it out. This way I can laugh when we learn it was all for the tv show and none of it was "real". I guess that is what passes for clever writing these days.

PhantomStranger -- agreed! But then, that is another reason I think it's all just show. I couldn't tell, was it Lady Gaga again?

I doubt it's a show. I did consider that the producer was killed, and the stage was already set for the actors to do their thing. But that doesn't explain the real butcher's willingness to lunge her cleaver into the actress butcher.

And that wasn't Gaga as the witch. With both the witch and the butcher, they toned down the theatrical colors and design to make them more real and intimidating.
