WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19 ARROW "A Matter of Trust" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, LV) (HDTV) WRESTLING STAR CODY RHODES BRINGS THE SMACK DOWN TO STAR CITY - Now that Oliver (Stephen Amell) has his new team, they are ready to hit the streets but Oliver doesn't feel they are ready. Headstrong Wild Dog (guest star Rick Gonzalez) defies the Green Arrow's orders and sets out on his own after a new drug dealer, Derek Sampson (guest star Cody Rhodes), who is terrorizing Star City. Sampson proves more powerful than Wild Dog and it is up to the Green Arrow to go head to head with Sampson to save his teammate. Well... I give them props for letting Flashpoint spill over. I wonder if it it will end up alienating those who don't watch The Flash.

We get the first sighting of the Mr. Terrific costume. Thea is a terrible Chief of Staff. I guess that was skipped in her assassin training.

:mad: Fucking Barry ;) screwing up the timeline on Arrow as well. Nice seeing Carly Pope in this as the cutthroat reporter. Was surprised seeing Deadshot. I thought that character was off limits to the TV division. But then again he was a figment of Diggle's imagination. |

Floyd Lawton, boy was I fooled, I thought the FLASHPOINT revive Deadshot.
Disappointed it was only a mirage. :( Cool seeing the Team Arrow custom up and working together in the field for the 1st time. |

I'm enjoying this season more than I thought so far. I'm digging Oliver having a new team as it feels somewhat fresh. I especially like Thea not suiting up anymore as I think she works better on the sidelines than playing superhero. Seeing Adrian Chase pop up was a surprise. They better have him suit up as Vigilante because the odds of ever seeing Adrian Chase in live action are slim to none. Surprised to see how comic accurate Curtis' Mr. Terrific costume was. They also need to do something with Artemis as right now it's really unbelievable that she could beat up anybody.

Oliver's "I think it's cool" line was a reference to Amell playing Casey Jones in this summer's TMNT movie.
