In the comics Flash had an "aura" that protected his clothes (or anything close to him) from extreme speed. That was why he was why he was able to carrying people around at super-speed without killing them.

Possible spoiler, but pretty cool flashback

I was wondering the same. Seems like he left her stranded a few hundred miles away.

Barry and Iris had a history of bad dates before he married her in the comics. Though that Iris didn't know Barry was the Flash.

Perfunctory make the Barry and Iris relationship stop.

My wife pointed out the same thing with Barry leaving Iris there.

What happened to Gideon?

Nice to have Wells back, but wish he had a meatier role.

Part of me thinks they need to drop a few characters. Too many plots to juggle and not enough screen time.

Funny how a single character can go from sucky Wally to kinda cool Flashpoint Wally back to sucky Wally in a few episodes.

Wally has improved tenfold since his early appearances. They've eliminated the angsty teen rebel part of his early personality.

Yeah, now he's just a whiny "emo-Peter Parker" teen.
