Doesn't look like "Gotham" is learning from the "too many villains" mistake it made in Season 2. I suspect this might be its last season.

I don't care about too many villains - I f***ing cannot wait for this!

I'd say this is close to, if not tied with several others, as my #1 show. I just bloody love it for some reason or another. Gordon is so perfectly cast, his crazy ex is hot in a crazy way, Fish Moonie rocks, and, oh yeah, Donal Logue × 1000.

Can't. Freaking. Wait!

I do not understand the showrunners' hardon for Fish Mooney. Whether it's the writing or the actress I don't care she drags down the show something fierce.

I just hope Fish Mooney either plays an extremely tiny part or is killed off again asap. Otherwise, she'll drag the show down like she does any scene she's in and I'll drop the show this season. I considered dropping it last season when they announced she'll be returning... I dislike the character that much. She's easily the worst aspect of the show, yet the showrunners have some kind of hard on for her. -_-

While I don't at all care for Fish Mooney, I think the show's bigger problem is how big of an asshole James Gordon is There were many times last year where he was such a prick that I wasn't sure if the show still wanted us to be rooting for him.

There is no way Fish isn't going to become one of the leads again along with Gordon and Penguin. Which means I'll likely drop this show. There were times where it really showed promise. Not coincidentally after they killed off Fish.

Add me to the "hating Fish Mooney" club. Just don't like the character.

As feared, this premiere was AWFUL. I'm not sure I'll be able to make it through the season if this is what we're going to get every week.

Maybe I've watched too many Batman animated shows because it's hard for me to see Jim Gordon as a bounty hunter. I'm also in the hate Fish Mooney club. I don't understand why she was even allowed back in the building, let alone back on the show. Fish Mooney will kill this show quicker than anything else. Please get rid of her ASAP.

Re: Gotham (S3E01) -- Premiere -- "Mad City: Better to Reign in Hell…" -- 9/19/16

Very weird premiere. Very crowded too. Felt like there was way too many villains. I hope Gotham doesn't run into this problem overbloating episodes with too many characters.

I don't mind Jim being a freelance Bounty Hunter for the time being. We all know he's going to end back up at Gotham PD again at some point.

Maybe I missed something, but what's up with the lookalike Bruce Wayne with the bad hair? I recall seeing him in the finale last season, but didn't know what to make of it.

I did like seeing Jamie Chung.

Oops, you're right. My bad. She's Valerie Vale, Vicki's aunt.

So Vicki would probably still be really young like Bruce's age in this universe.

I actually enjoy keeping Barbara around as a wacky supporting character. I think they plan to turn her into their version of a proto-Harley Quinn.

This show does have a very poor grasp of what makes Batman tick as a character. There is no one that believes this kid will turn into a superhero down the road. They haven't constructed his psychological profile with any depth. It's all to serve the current plot.

Barbara is HOT and crazy, great combo, but kind of reminds of me Harley Quinn. I may be the only one that isn't interested in Jamie's character either.
