It would be interesting to see what the show would be without Sandstorm because as currently constructed, Sandstorm is the show's raison d'être, even when we didn't know it.

Wow, great May 10th episode! Called that replica building earlier in the season.

This episode had a lot of elements from The Rock movie (my favorite movie).

No, I think Sandstorm wants those people in the bunker because it's easier to target them if they're in one place.

That was a weird as hell time jump. I wonder if the time jump ending was shot after they got renewed. It seemed like it was all wrapped up in case they didn't get a renewal.

What kind of finale was that? Hahaha! I liked it, since it was pretty much non stop action. Good resolution.

But some crazy, over the top (satellite), corny and what the hell time jump made this one of the weirdest episodes of TV I've seen.

But in the end, I was entertained. Thanks Blindspot.

Same here - lots of fun. Liked the Niven-esqe rods-from-heaven plot. Defibrillator on tracker was great. Then the time jump and new layer of tattoos? Zounds!

I agree that the probably wrapped it up in case of cancellation and the time jump and glowing tattoos was added at the last minute when it was renewed. We'll check out the S3 opener, but more than likely we'll call that last episode the series finale in our heads. Went far too downhill during S2.

Fun finale. Glad the Sandstorm arc was wrapped. But, that ending with the 2 year time jump epilogue was really weird. I normally don't like huge time jumps because it throws shows off from current real time events (not that they were ever really in sync.) 24 has done it many times. But now Blindspot can never say the actual year now.

Looks like Jane and Weller were/are married as well. The glowing tattoos and Weller saying that Reade, Zapata and Patterson was another interesting addition.

BTW, it looks like the 1st part of season 3 is being filmed in Italy. Jaimie Alexander posted some photos of her in Italy dressed as Jane in Venice and it looks like they're back in production.

I'm guessing if the show got cancelled, the 2 years later epilogue would have been edited out.

But, there is no way it was filmed when they got the season 3 greenlight. The Finale was probably filmed around March-April. They probably had that ending in their back pocket ready to go.
