Pretty cool penultimate episode.
A lot of X-Men references in the promo for the finale.
The sequence at the house was pretty spectacular between the Strucker family and the Sentinels. I'm just amazed how they continue to pull off some pretty elaborate special effects driven sequences on TV money. This has to be one of the more expensive 1st year shows on.
The ratings for this week to week haven't been great, but if it does come back hopefully it will heavily be influenced by Marvel producing this show and being owned by Disney who is taking over FOX.

Anyone know or care to guess who the Hellfire club sponsor/fellow is meant to be? (Did he do the superman crush carbon to make a diamond trick or just summon it?) Shaw? Leyland?

Anyway, thought this was a decent episode, I really like what they're doing with the Stepford Cuckoos, and I hope they to see them stick around.
Didn't they say we'd be seeing the MLF at some point?

They just announced on the shows Facebook page that there will be a Season 2.

That's good news. Since it's the only new show I watch the same day it airs I figured it would be on the chopping block.

The Gifted has been strong its entire run this season. I even like the little addition they've made to mutant lore with the siblings often having stronger powers when combined.

We recently binged this and watched this last one last night. Really strong series that we waited to watch the remaining episodes (we watched the first couple eps) until we could have some hope that it wouldn't end on cliffhanger. Should be interesting to see how it changes with Disney in the mix now.
But one hopefully they will do a better job with Turner in the future. They are all over the map with that guy and it made less and less sense as the series went on.

Just caught up and definitely along with SWAT my fav new show. Very good, excellent cast with the likes of Moyer and Amy Acker and Natalie Alyn Lind is the cutest thing on TV.
The Cuckoo sisters are really sexy too, i could quite easily picture a foursome with them, with them taking turns 'finishing' me off the way they finish each others sentences
This show has a good mix of action and drama and interesting characters
And decent FX
definitely more of a movie feel than the arrowverse

I'm not a huge fan of the "combine two mutants" thing, but I thought it was cool that they brought up the Cuckoos'/Frosts' connection as similar to Fenris and how that helped him develop the system.
I don't really understand how young Mastermind (or whatever that kid's name was) was shielding them with his illusion powers.
Kudos to them not only establishing the Hellfire club but also hinting at the legacy royalty membership of both Polaris and Fenris (though they'd have to get both siblings, I would think, for them to be effective, so it's odd that they're not working on the sister).
