Didn't know Durance was returning. That's awesome. Now they need Teri Hatcher. I am psyched they're attempting this, but I can't help but think this is a story they should've tried on the big screen. I've struggled to make it through Arrow every year since season 3. The Flash is the only show that I still enjoy of the Arrowverse shows.

Rosenbaum was offered a part, but he passed. He said they had no script and no idea what he would be doing.

I can see both sides. He has no obligation to commit on such little info and a "we need to know now" type call. But then again...
Maybe if that call had come through while he was chillin' at home instead visiting his Grandfather he would have considered it site unseen. It doesn't sound unreasonable that WB would call before having an idea what to do with him, but still knowing that want him on board. I'll bet that happens all the time in Hollywood.

Makes you wonder if that’s been the going pitch to all these people. I have to imagine though that they have had more concrete plans for the majors.

Batman was referenced in last season's crossover. He supposedly left Gotham and that's why Kate Kane (Batwoman) is basically running things by herself.
Superman is a recurring character on Supergirl and he was also on last season's crossover. But he and Supergirl live on Earth 38. So technically they aren't in the same universe as Olver Queen.

They have to change Katherine McNamara back to being a redhead. The blond dye job didn't suit her on Arrow. I wouldn't mind her as the lead of a new spin-off, but I hope it's not in that terribly predictable, dystopian Star City future seen last year.

Agreed. I have zero intention to watch it regardless, especially if it's set in the 2040 that last season was with her in it, but the blonde hair just didn't suit her at all.

So far the CW DC series have been predictably boring. After Arrow and this season's crossover I'm dropping all the CW DC series. It's too bad- they were really great 4-5 years ago.

Bummer about Rosenbaum. I get where he's coming from, but why put someone in a script before they agree to appear? Then it's more work to de-tangle that character from what they had planned.
Also the complaint about low pay is weird if he doesn't know how much he'd be in it. It could have just been a simple cameo with a line or two.
It's a shame but both parties are equally guilty of not sitting down at a table and simply discussing it.

It's a shame but both parties are equally guilty of not sitting down at a table and simply discussing it.my guess is he wasn’t in the script, and the reason they don’t have one to give him is they’re not writing beyond big beats before figuring out who all they have access to.

Rosenbaum never really wanted to come back to begin with I bet. They had trouble getting him back for Smallville too because he wanted away from it when he left originally.

She's never going to work in Hollywood ever again.Tom and Erica look good portraying Clark and Lois 8 years after the show. If you all recall the series finale time jumped to 2018 when Lois and Clark were getting married.
I met Tom Welling a year ago and got a photo signed and a selfie taken with him. He's a big dude and not fat. He's bulked up a lot since the series finale.
