I like the new costume. I'm sure it will look fine on the show.
Some interesting gossip has come out in the past month or so about the Flash cast. This being the fifth season when many cast members' contracts are up and some probably won't get brought back next year, jockeying behind the scenes has been occurring. Apparently not everyone in the cast gets along that well.

The lead sometimes has a seven-year deal (usually five years with a two-year option that often gets renegotiated) - supporting players do not sign up that long. See all the actors that Supergirl has already dumped.
Latest rumor is that the forthcoming Batwoman show will replace Arrow when that show ends.

The Flash and Supergirl will temporarily trade places to accommodate this fall’s Arrowverse crossover.
The CW has officially announced that this year’s three-show, Legends-less, three-night crossover event — which will introduce Kate Kane aka the Gotham vigilante known as Batwoman (played by Orange Is the New Black‘s Ruby Rose) — will air Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, December 9 through 11.
Specifically, the event will kick off that Sunday at 8/7c with a special airing of The Flash. The crossover continues Monday at 8 pm, in Arrow‘s new time slot, and then concludes on Tuesday at 8, where Supergirl (now a Sunday night series) will occupy The Flash‘s usual home.
Or, said differently and with far fewer cumbersome words:

* Sunday, Dec. 9 at 8 pm: The Flash

Additionally, Batwoman’s introduction will pave the way for the DC Comics superhero to possibly headline her own standalone series, in development for the 2019-20 TV season.

The Batwoman solo series is already a lock. Expect it to replace Arrow in the schedule if Amell walks. Supposedly it will be very similar to Arrow in feel - an action series based around a team of vigilante superheroes.

Not familiar with a lot of those names but yeah, filming a couple of episodes wouldn't seem that daunting for Kreuk.
I'm up for some stunt casting but I'm not sure I'd want her though.
