Does satellite cable have East Coast feeds for people on the West Coast?

For example, if someone wanted to watch a show as it airs at 6 p.m. their time, and not have to wait for their local station.

Yes Directv in the West coast gets all the East coast feeds for basic and premium cable. Not over the air though. Can't watch ABC's New York feed. There's FCC regulations that prohibit East coast feeds being available in the West for network TV.
