The kids killing Cartman's internet access was great.

Thanks for reminding me. It's up on their website. The website uses Hulu's player, which I hate (it doesn't work well on my PC). It also takes them a day-or-so to update the episode with unedited audio.

I love the irony that with social media out of the picture, Cartman is the only one of the guys who has a sort-of girlfriend now.

I'm convinced South Park writers are reading what I write on the internet. I'm flattered. Will leave it at that.

Another great episode. Watching South Park feels like home. I love it so much.

This episode was one of the more hilarious ones I can recall. I couldn't deal with Gerald and Sheila in the bedroom.

Re: South Park (Comedy Central) - Season 20 Thread

Does anyone else think Cartman is full of shit? My theory is that he's pulling a long con. He plans to start a movement with the feminists in order to meet Amy Shuemmer. But he actually hates Shuemmer and wants to get revenge on her in some way.

Re: South Park (Comedy Central) - Season 20 Thread

Oh there is no way Cartman isn't playing some form of the long game. The only question is, is it something petty and spiteful or grand and monumental planned for his end game?

I'm hoping that he makes Amy Schumer eat her parents.

Re: South Park (Comedy Central) - Season 20 Thread

I was a little disappointed Garrison didn't have some sort of "grab em right in the pussy" moment.

Otherwise a solid episode that's moving the larger story along. Gee, that's not something I ever expected to say about South Park. This new story arc format is really working for them.

trolltrace.com asks for your email and then says "Thank You - You are now in the system".

No idea where it goes from there.

Who wants to be they're going to try to squeeze in a "Stranger Things" spoof somewhere in this season? Will the member berries be from "the upside down"? (I'll bet they'll at least work in a reference.)

Re: South Park (Comedy Central) - Season 20 Thread

There better be some good payoffs because I'm not really liking this season. Some funny moments but I'm starting to think they need to drop the continuity.

Re: South Park (Comedy Central) - Season 20 Thread

Agree, at least in regards to this episode. It felt like exposition. Not filler, but just something to connect other, better episodes together. They normally can get away with that because the episodes usually have enough stand-alone good stuff in them that it doesn't matter. But this one was definitely lacking.

Re: South Park (Comedy Central) - Season 20 Thread

I remember being hooked on South Park after those serialized episodes in the first few seasons (the Jewish camp, the hot tub party, etc.). They really stepped it up since then.

Anyone feel like Matt and Trey are prophets here? The idea like there are a handful of instigator trolls causing all the division. It feels true. Next time you read some terrible shit in a comments section, remember it's probably a troll.

Re: South Park (Comedy Central) - Season 20 Thread

Can't believe tonight's episode was based on the election results...they must have done a rough outline based on either result and since late last night were working nonstop all day to get this out tonight.

Loved the Rick Rolled trolls.

With the title, "The Very First Gentleman," I think they were anticipating a Clinton victory and has to scramble to rework it into Garrison winning.
