Wow, looks like everyone dropped out tonight. It was a pretty darkly comedic episode tonight. I enjoyed the scathingly funny parts mixed in with the action and it was good to see more of Odin's origin story and why he is the way he is.

Preacher shot my dick off.
Got a feeling I know what the angels are going to do next to retrieve Genesis.
Wonder if Jesse will get Arseface out of Hell, or if he's going to take the place of John Wayne as Jesse's imaginary friend.
Tulip feeding the dog to (presumably) Cassidy was pretty fucked up. As if people didn't hate her enough before tonight...

Ha right - why's she got to get all buddy-buddy with the dog first? I guess to give it a nice little life for the few minutes before he goes to cassidy.
I liked this episode just fine. That last bit about finding god meshes with the comics, although everything will likely still happen in Annville.
And now we see why "Serve God" didn't work on Odin. The God of Meat. Will we get to see his shrine?

Seems like it wouldn't have been a problem for Tulip to steal the blood from the hospital. She knows where they keep it. Plus Cassidy didn't have any problems getting to it the first time. She also had no problem robbing a drugstore at gunpoint to get Cassidy drugs.
The whole saga with Odin doesn't make sense to me. He has no legal right to the preacher's church or his property as witnessed by him trying to get the Preacher to sign away the deed. Yet the Sheriff and the whole town have no issue with him bringing an armed group of hooligans on his land and having a shootout with him.

Preacher shot my dick off was very Ennis
I also think Arseface is taking the John Wayne spot.

This is so far away from the comic but it's still entertaining in it's own right. Definitely some Ennis humor there.

This weeks episode was much better than a lot of the others, probably because there was almost no Ruth Negga. Still way off from the comics, but it was a little better. Not sure i like replacing John Wayne with Arseface. I know they would have legal issues and what not, but this kind of thing just pisses me off. Arseface was in the comics a lot and having him relegated to the ghost role seems off. Still not a bad episode and hopefully by the end of the 1st season the church is gone and Jesse is on his trek to seek out God. Lets see.
