Predictions?

I think Queen Margaery is the sole ruler of King's landing at the end of the episode with all the other major players there dead. Perhaps she even plants to knife into Tommen. Complete guesses here but who knows..

PREDICTIONS:

1. Davos kills Melisandre. She's brought back Jon, so she's no longer necessary. Also, with her ability to bring people back from the dead, she's too much of a deus ex machina to keep around.

2. Sansa pwns Littlefinger somehow. He's going to attempt to play her, and she'll get the upper hand somehow.

3. Revelations from the Tower of Joy. Probably via Bran. Coldhands/Benjen might deliver him to the Wall, or he might not. I figure he must do something important to bring him back after all of these years.

4. WaLder Frey will die by Arya's hand. She might even take out some other Freys, too.

5. Bloodbath in King's Landing. Cersei burns it down with Wildfire. The entire Faith Militant, Loras, Margaery, Mace Tyrell, Kevan Lannister, and Pycelle will all burn. Tommen will also die as a result of Cersei's actions. He wil wither burn with the others, commit suicide, or be killed by Robert Strong (The Mountain) when he attacks his mother over the deaths of Margaery And the High Sparrow.

6. No White Walkers, or a very brief scene at most. The Wall will stay up. If it does come down it will be the final shot of 7.7, the midseason finale next year.

7. Final shot of the episode will be Dani, Tyrion, Missandei, Grey Worm, Yara, Theon, (Varys?), the Unsullied, and the Dothraki sailing across the narrow sea as three dragons fly overhead.

My crazy way out there prediction would be that Littlefinger kills Sansa after she rejects his marriage proposal. He takes over Winterfell and becomes Warden of the North.

The episode ends at The Wall with Edd watching the White Walkers approach.

This would be bullshit, because it would take weeks for Arya to reach The Twins from Braavos. The show has suffered enough recently with characters apparently having the ability to morph to whatever location the writers need them, with no regard for the size of the world and the time it would take to travel across it.

As much as I want to see Arya get a chance to kill one of the people on her list in the finale, the travel thing would really bug me too.

Clearly he's pissed off but I don't see him killing her. It isn't in his character to just cut down an unarmed woman, especially one so valuable.

Could be, definitely from Jon's perspective...but I don't think Davos is just going to forgive Melisandre for this. Nothing that could make logical sense IMO. What I think could happen is Melisandre is Banished, Davos tries to kill her himself and fails or Davos gives them an ultimatum and they say no, they need her and he leaves Winterfell. I just don't see anyway it can be explained that they stay under the same roof. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

If the brotherhood is heading up to help fight the white walkers, then there would be two red priests (Thoros and Melisandre). So I could see them cutting Melisandre loose tonight. Poor Thoros is the only red priest that's ugly. The Lord of Light did not bless him.

At least he earned his man-bun. I welcome more Thoros and Beric, really enjoy both actors.

Also, anyone who frequents polygon.com may want to wait until after the Season Finale to go on that site. They posted a MASSIVE Spoiler because apparently that have a huge bag of dicks running that site.

Huh? I visit Polygon regularly and don't know of them posting any spoilers. The only article I can think of recently is all opinion and conjecture regarding...

Spoiler:
Lady Stoneheart

If that's not what you're referring to, what spoiler are you talking about?

Yes

Spoiler:
Fair Enough, yes that was what I was referring to, but to me they should not have an article that says "They are ABSOLUTELY having so and so character come back this Sunday. That takes opinion out of it when you use that word. It isn't on their front page now, but it was before.

Yeah but I think he'll be taken care of by wildfire. It's the quickest and easiest way to take him out.. although I think he will do plenty of damage before it happens.

Yeah, there are a lot of "theories" everywhere. Some of them may be actual spoilers, and some may be just right guesses.

Just in case, I'm not reading more articles after I watch the finale.

This might be my favorite episode ever, so much craziness and all the stories and characters, good and bad, seem to be coming to a head and taking a giant step forward for the first time in a couple years. Epic moments for just about everyone involved.

Okay, hope HBO is ready to commit some major $$ to the rest of this series. That set up demands a budget to deliver something epic. If anything happens (storms, shipwrecks, etc.), it wouldn't be due to "needed character development" as much as "budgetary constraints". That would suck.

I guess we'll never know where Margery's true alliance lay, just that it wasn't with Cersei.

Did it look to anyone else that Arya was getting an almost orgasmic joy from killing someone?

My guess about season seven: first half will be about taking down Cersei, second half will be about facing the Night King and his army. Since it will be split into two halves (again HBO?), I see that as plausible.

Well it was recently announced that the 5 or 6 main cast members got a pay increase to 500k an episode for next season, so I assume they're committed to spending on the sets and effects and shit too.
