So, a time jump? Or just for Ivy? I thought Bruce and Selina were supposed to be around 15 or so, and Ivy was younger.

"Following an encounter with a monster from Indian Hill, Ivy Pepper finds herself reborn..."

Apparently she's "transformed" in the encounter. It's BS, of course, but it gets them where they want to be. I imagine they can only do so much with the push-pull between Bruce and Selina, so this gets to create a new Betty and Veronica situation, like they had briefly last year with Silver. Also, the producers must have had problems making the character or the actress "work" in the storyline (she's just too young to be threatening or exotic, -she's just eccentric). I guess they felt a viable character was going to waste.

Am I living in Bizarro world or did the critical and audience praise skyrocket after they eliminated Fish from the show? If true, it seems they must be wanting to kill this series for some unknown reason.

Why bring her back? She's the only regular black character. Politics > money.

If they were going to pull some hocus-pocus with Poison Ivy, they could have rebirthed her as a black woman.

I don't think that has anything to do with it. In addition to the aforementioned Fox, Jessica Lucas' Tabitha Galavan was a regular all last year and is not dead.

Maybe they don't want to get rid of Fish b/c they think Jada Pinkett Smith is a big enough name to help draw to the show.
